Ive got two partial trans male breeders that will be bred soon. How does partial trans come into play when bred? I would like to know if they will produce translucents or not

In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.
Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
Sponsors - Eliminated
Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days
On July 1, 2027, all paid memberships will be closed.
On August 1, 2027, FaunaClassifieds will be terminated.
Only change I expect that might take place is when I can get around to figuring out when the amount of money I would have to refund for the yearly paid memberships becomes less than the monthly expense of leasing my server, THAT date might be the termination date for the site.

Responding to email notices you receive.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Partial trans breeding
Yes from my experience, I have a few partial trans females from different breeders and when bred with het trans males they both produce trans in the clutch, same % as if they were full black eye trans. I will say this though with my short 3 year experience with the trans gene, my non black eye trans tend to produce a higher % of non black eye trans in the offspring I still get some nice full black eye trans just not as many as from a full black eyed trans. I also hear that the hypo gene works against the black eye trait of the trans which can be a cause of partial trans, if I remember correctly I was told some early import Belgium line trans were notorious for producing partial trans. This is just my experience and hope it helps!

A partial trans is a translucent with 1 or both eyes not black. when breeding these you will get a lesser number of both black eyed translucents.
