    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Breeding and what to expect.

Well on everyone's advice we have gone and put some of our leos together. We have put Quiz(F), Fatboy(F yes the name is not right I know. ) and Jason(M). The tank they are in is 24"x24". The two females have grown up together so they were left together. The smaller male was picked as this is our first shot and we did not want anything to happen to the females. In the tank are three humid hides, four dry hides and a lay box. There are two food dishes a water dish and a calcium dish. The substrate is a combination of tiles, shelf paper and paper towel. When the male was added he? was making a sound much like a rattle snake. Not sure how he was doing it, but it was loud and clear. There has been some pushing and mild biting so far. The male pulled what looked like wax plugs off of his hemipenis and has walked around the cage dragging that part of his body along the ground. Does this sound normal so far? What should I be on the lookout for now? How will things proceed from here? Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

Frank, watch the tip of his tail, that is how he is producing the vibrating sound. It is their way of checking to see if his cagemates are male or female, the nips on the girls tails , and necks is to let them know his intentions, he will work his way up her neck and latch on and attempt to "have his way with her", if she is responsive she will submit, if not she will attempt to let him know, whether he chooses to listen or not is entirely up to him......

Thank you for the answers. Is the tail dragging thing normal? The sound he was making was made real wierd because the tail was vibrating against the hides I use. They are thin plastic packing tubs used to pack mushrooms in.
