In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Breeding Beardies

I will attest to Lynn's dragons. I've personally seen her whole collection and her keeping quarters, lots of good and healthy stuff  .

Be sure to check the seller's reputation and background before purchasing, another good bit of info would be to do a search on the Faunaclassifieds BOI section before buying.

The problem with this is that I need to still need to make room. Can he go in with my female? I mean would that be ok? I have removable separators , so I can separate the cage into two different parts but it would be 2' x 2' for each of them. That might not work...

Can I use a plastic bin for a cage? It would have lighting that I would put in.

This would all be temporary. If this is a bad idea then let me know.

BTW, Kala, the female, is in a custom made enclosure, I think it is made by boaphile (forget the exact name).

The plastic bin would be like 60 gallons or something that is 4' by 2'. I hear people keep their bearded dragons in such enclosures, so just wondering.

well, an adult need 36" x 20" floor space.. the area of that is 720 sq. inches.
2ft x 2ft is 576 sq. inches.. So, I mean you could do that, but it shouldn't be long term, it could be a temporary cage though.

I would advise against a plastic bin at that age, but it might could work. Just depends on the size of the bin.

You could make a custom cage, home depot has 3/4" melamine sheets for like 40-50 bucks. I have cages from Boamaster, their "4ft reg" cages are perfect sizes (4ft x 28in) and they have good prices too.

and you can stack the cages. it takes a lil tweekin to get the temps to stabilize but i have 6 cages and only use 2 4x2 areas. they stack almost to the ceiling, but as far as actuall floor space its pretty minimal.

I might just get a plastic bin and put enough lighting in there, then I will probably just wait until I get a fecal done and then put them together, for whatever amount of time they should be together, then take him out and put him in his own cage probably a made cage.

Anyone know of a enclosure maker that makes cages for a good price? I find that the enclosure makers I deal with make cages for too much money.

boamaster is the best i've seen for the money, the 3x2x18's are very reasonable, in fact i couldn't by the materials from a box store and build em myself for much cheaper. not only that but the front of the cage is very presentable if its in a front room. i was very pleasantly surprised.

Alright, so I don't think I'll be getting a male until a few months, I will get one though. I need to get somethings set before doing so, I probably should have waited on making this forum. I think by July or maybe early August I will be ready.

start watching for the right male now dude, if you have the time take it, and find a killer dragon instead of making a quick decision later on.
