In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has successfully bred Ornate Flying Snakes. Im interested in getting started. I want to hopefully breed some traits into lines along with finding morphs in the species. Anyone that has any tips please share. I have a very healthy male and soon I want to get a female but I do want some tips haha. Thanks in advance

They don't always come in. I've seen some around recently. Would be good to have someone breed them state side. From talking to other people they are easier to establish on and do better on rodents than paradise flyers.

I will say, I cannot get mine to eat F/T but I might try a live fuzzy if I can. I feed in a tote since my snake has managed to not be able to find a lizard in his enclosure lol

I am pretty sure they will eventually breed with no special manipulation as I recall seeing some posts of people breeding them successfully in the past and my general experience with WC asian colubrid species if they eventually breed in captivity with no special conditions but take 18-24 months on average for me to start seeing it (I think it's more an acculmation to local conditions than anything because most animals I've received were already adults). They might need parasite treatment from feeding on lizards and such. I would have a fecal performed periodically. I have a microscope but if you don't have one you can send it to someome who does for example https://www.pethometests.com/product-page/pet-home-tests-for-reptiles. or [email protected] Most vet teaching schools will also do this for a small fee but of course won't provide any advice on treatment. I've been basing most of my treatment on the book "Understanding Reptile Parasites". I also do about 3 crypto tests over a few months using vetdna. If a snake has any long digestion or regurge issues than more or I take them in for a stomach wash to be sent to U of FL.
