    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have a proven breeding pair of taiwan beauty snakes. The male is leucistic and the female is normal. Both are a little jumpy, but are healthy. Would prefer not to ship, but willing to meet in the local area. If needed to ship, would do so through SYR. Asking $250 for the pair. Will add pics later.

EDIT: was told the male is actually an albino. They are about 4 years old.

I'm not an expert on these but they look like chinese beauty's to me, still very cool snakes. I'd like to make an offer but I need to know beyond any doubt they are taiwans as I already have a male albino chinese and a normal female taiwan but don't want to produce integrades.

Those are Chinese Beauties (Orthriophis taeniurus taeniurus) - not Taiwans (Orthriophis taeniurus friesi). There are no known morphs in friesi, only in t. taeniurus and t. mocquardi. The pic of the "albino" is not very good, but it looks hypomelanistic, which is also sometimes erroneously called Tyrosinase positive (T+) albino.

BTW - when or if any morph is ever discovered in "pure" friesi, a single specimen will be worth MUCH more than $250...

No problem, Steff. There is a LOT of misinformation on the beauty snakes floating around - and it seems there are a lot of people who are selling beauties who either don't know what they have or they are trying to pass them off as something they are not.

BTW, even in O. t. taeniurus there are no known leucistics yet - the closest morph is probably "platinum" which sort of resembles a sliver-gray leucistic in a nice specimen. Also, I have seen pairs of "true" (T-) albino t. taeniurus sell for $1000. Hypomelanistic (aka T+ albino) is a much more common morph...
