    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I am new and have read all the books on how to do it but I am wondering if anyone can put it into laymens terms Also does anybody no what my chances of trading my salmon female 100% het for super 66% ghost for a male salmon she is a little over a year with decent color, just curious.

I'm a bit confused on your terminology though. Did you mean a possible super salmon, 66% het for ghost?
Het for super is an improper term. Actually, IMO Super is a wrong term to use for the Salmon gene, but it's used pretty often. LOL

Super is a common way of referring to an animal that is homozygous, or has identical genes for a trait. Most Salmons out there aren't, and have a normal gene also. They are heterozygous.

A poss "Super" Salmon female is a good one to keep. If she proves to be super later on, all the babies get a salmon gene. Much easier to combine genes with predictable results, when you use homozygous animals. Even if she ain't super, still a good looking gene to pass on to +/- half the litter.

Just curious what books you read? You mentioned "All the books". I only have a couple. Any good ones?

Dont really know I was told when I baught her sister and here that they were super salmon and 66% poss het for ghost.
