Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I did in fact get pictures of the Harlequin dead. They are not pretty.. I actually thought of posting them but I never did.

This is just a general question and not specific to the Magees. Are vet reports, shippings docs, things on letterhead considered anonymous if one of the parties name and address is blacked out.

Looks like Brendan owes you quite a bit of money (or at least an animal of equal or higher value). I hope he decides to salvage what little reputation he has left and honors the contract. I'm sorry you had to go through this, and thank you for warning others of Brendan's true nature.

Unfortunately I have not heard a word from Brendan, no email, no call.. nothing.

He should be hearing from my attorney either later this week or next.

Will have to see if that does anything - then off to court.

The last I heard from Shawn was that this was turned over to a collections attorney. It appears that Brendan is still cowering in the corner hoping the people that he has ripped off won't come after him. As of today, there is close to $10,000 worth of animals that Brendan owes people. We can prove that his brother was viewing this thread so obviously Brendan is aware and simply too much of a coward to come on here. What a waste......

Well here is a twist in the story - NO CONTACT STILL!

I have been told since I have now sent this to my attorney; once my initial check clears I am to have no contact with Brendan until the case is over. This appears not to be a problem as Brendan has yet to contact me.

ALSO - I have had 2 people call me - tell me they are friends of Brendan’s as well as me so they would love to help work this out. Both have Harlequins they either bought from Brendan or have them on a breeding loan.

Each person volunteered to call to see if they could help Brendan out with this situation and both were told the same thing:

SHAWN WILL NEVER own another harlequin and you had better not sell him one or you will be the next on the banned list.

NO I will not take your deal to get this situation behind me, as I would rather not give Shawn anything then for him to have another Harlequin.

So as it sits I am under the impression Brendan would rather go to court then correct his mistakes.

Both people that called Brendan said they offered him a way out for pennies on the dollar and Brendan still refused. The callers were also informed I am now Banned for all Harlequins and they would be too if they supplied me with any.

SO ALL YOU HARLEQUIN DEALERS OUT THERE TAKE NOTE: You are hereby banned from selling or trading me any Harlequins as the master communicator has put me on the Harlequin BLACK LIST.

So NO CALL, NO EMAIL, and refuses to let others that consider him a friend help him. Oh.. and I am herby officially banned from ever owning another Harlequin again.

DO BUSINESS WITH BRENDAN MAGEE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

P.S. Brendan or anyone who talks to him please pass this on. Once the attorney papers arrive I was told to have NO contact until completed through the legal system. Until my check clears with the attorney you have a way out without involving attorneys. I have sent my check, and it has been deposited so you have very little time remaining until it clears. It is in your hands. If we go to court it will be on your shoulders.

I will also be including all court and attorney costs and any other costs associated that they will allow me to include. The attorney also stated GARNISHMENT of wages if we have to take this all the way to a judge. The attorney also said we have a signed contract, PERIOD. Leaves very little room for nonsense.

We would both be better off to do something now, but it is in your hands.

Why am I not surprised that he still hasn't stepped up. You should bump this thread once a week or so to keep it in peoples minds..

Just so there is no confusion let me make this clear.

Brendan Magee is doing business as BCI BY DESIGN. They are the same.

There is a new post on KS today of him selling an animal – this is the same person that owes me $1900.00, has admitted to owing, yet has failed to make good on his debt saying he has no animals nor money he wants to part with. So be prepared.

I have not heard from Brendan in months so I cannot assume he is selling this animal to pay me – as he has cut all communication and has forced me to obtain an attorney to go after what is mine.

So.. if you think you like that animal, better KISS YOUR MONEY GOODBYE before you send it. If you get the same customer service I am getting – you will be taken for a ride and will never see your money again.

BRENDAN MAGEE and BCI BY DESIGN are STEALING MONEY and not making good on their contractual debts. Remember that before you send him your money.

Think I am blowing this out of proportion? I have had numerous people tell me Brendan owes them for one reason or another, Brendan told me he has other debts over a year old he has yet to pay and his website is frozen, why.. yep, LACK OF PAYMENT.
