    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Where do i start, Brent Bumgardner is an amazing guy(and not to mention his snakes).I guess ill start at the top. I am 15 years old and living in northern Virginia. I was trying to decide what snake i want to breed. Well upon searching king snake classifieds i saw the hognose snakes. They were amazing and i knew i wanted to breed them. Well looking around i saw Brent's ads. he lived 15 minutes away from me. I emailed him and asked if he could deliver to my house since i live close so i could save on shipping(this didn't benefit him, he actually lost money for gas). An hour or so later he replayed to my email saying he was on his way home from work and would drop it by once he got home and packed it up. An hour and a half later he came buy with a pair of normal hogs. They were amazing. i took them home and got them all set up. A few days later i tried feeding. The male took and destroyed a pinkie. the female wouldn't eat. I tried the next two weeks and the snake still wouldn't eat. I contacted Brent and he came by and dropped off an adult to replace it. When he came by he came inside and started talking to my parents (apparently he dated my dads babysitter when he was a kid) and he offered to take me to the manasses reptile show. Of coarse i accepted. Going to a show with a great breeder like Brent was a dream of mine. He took me to the show, bought me McDonald and then got me a great deal on a white sided bull snake. Anyways we want back to his house and i saw his animals. I was speechless. The snakes in his collection are AMAZING. He truly has only class A snakes. Anyway my dad picked me up and Brent sent me home with a ton of free stuff. A ton of tubs for breeding(16 quarts and 6 quarts), a bunch of heat tape, and a superconda shirt. Not to mention the tons of knowledge he taught me. I continued to talk to him for several weeks about questions and genetics and what not. Well his other person he hired to clean cages moved to new York for school. HE OFFERED ME A JOB! Ever Sunday i clean cages at his house, feed snakes, and do other small things! Its insane. Its my dream to breed hognose snakes and he has made it possible for me. He pays me above minimum wadge, and i buy snakes from him with the money i earn. When i buy a more expensive snake i get a tab going and pay it off over time. So far i bought two normal male a normal female(one male and the female are ready to breed) and an albino and a het albino pair. I have been working there for only over a few months. He also helps me out with rodents and what not. All of my snakes eat and are in excellent condition. He is a great person and great breeder. His snakes are 100% perfect. He wont sell you 25,000 dollars worth of snakes then not give you the snakes(like a certain breeder of western hogs), he wont give you hets that don't prove out, and he wont give you a sick snake that he knows about. He is one of the only honest hog breeders out there in my opinion from what i have herd from the bois. There are not many bois on Brent so i thought i would do this for him because he really truly deserves it more then anyone. If your ever in the market for a western hog, go to Brent. You wont regret it.

I AGREE WITH YOU.I HAVEN`T SEEN ALL OF HIS SNAKES BUT HAVE SEEN SOME HE HAS BOUGHT TO SELL AT A FEW SHOWS HERE IN VA.I GOT 2 FROM HIM AND THEY WERE BEAUTIFUL AND AM HOPING TO BREED MY ALBINO FEMALE THIS SEASON.HE IS A GREAT PERSON AND WILL HELP YOU OUT WITH ANY INFORMATION YOU NEED ON YOUR HOG NOSES.LOOKING TO POSSIBLE GET ANOTHER RED ALBINO FROM HIM SOON. I got a pair from Brent Bumgardner when I was 16 and I will be 18 this July. He gave me them as babies and I raised them up and now 2 years later, they are together. He is a great guy to work with, I am selling my babies I produce to him and also I'm selling a special Nebraska locale Western Hognose that would be great to add to his projects. He is by far one of the best guys I've worked with, and I recommend him to anyone.

He is the epitome of a good guy all around in the snake industry. He sets the bar high and he is a man of his word. There should be no doubt that all transactions are in your favor. I wished that all sellers would emulate his business ethics. Thumbs up!
