In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Inquiry Brian Cross TMAN55

I'm not saying every deal is going to go as said or planned, but I purchased a snake from Brian recently and it went almost as planned. I paid, text'd, and talked with Brian during the whole deal. when the shipping date came, Brian was in the hospital. We set another date a few days later that worked for both of us, and I received what I ordered and it was as nice as I could have asked for.
People fall ill without planning it and life goes on hold during it. I will do business with Brian again if he has something I want.
I hope all works out for all involved. G. Weimer

So he kept in touch with you while in the hospital?

I can't speak to whatever was said between the OP and Mr Cross; but the ad he had posted indicated a slightly different scenario:

Thanks Harald, I never saw the original ad only what was posted in this thread. Throughout the thread the neo was being referred to as a Blue Deuce neo not a Chondro with Blue Deuce in its lineage. The price makes much more sense since Blue Deuce is not the actual Sire of the neo.

I had been wondering if anything was ever resolved with this situation, although I highly doubt it. But I figured now was a good time to ask for any updates, since Brian Cross username TMAN55 is connected to or is the same person as Chris Holmes username Made4 Reptiles. As stated in this thread by moderator Harald Moore http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=452145

Chris Holmes has a Bad Guy thread very similar to this one. Link
A trade was agreed upon and after Chris received his animals he never shipped his part of the deal. After which Chris cut off communication with the other party, including deleting his email account. All info pertaining to this situation can be found in the link above.

Back to this situation, was there anymore contact between you and Brian Cross?
One thing that really bugged me about this thread that wasn't mentioned, as there were plenty of things that bugged me but had been addressed.
Brian never mentioned once that he was the least bit concerned about the Green Tree Python he supposedly shipped. If he truly shipped the snake but the recipient states he never received it, with no signature required. You would think Brian would at least show a tiny bit of concern that perhaps the snake was left on someone else's front doorstep. Well I know I would and in fact I don't know anyone that wouldn't be concerned over the snakes well being!

And to green kind what snake did Brian send you? I'm not saying you're being untruthful but I do find it rather odd that you wouldn't mention the type of snake you received. Just stating that you had a good transaction with Brian at the same time this deal went south and you would do business with him again, seems questionable to me. If you were so happy with what you received I believe you would have been a little more specific about the animal than just calling it a snake. Also where was this snake advertised? How did you know Brian was selling said snake and how did you get his contact info? Sorry if this seems inappropriate but if what you say is true than answering a few questions concerning your deal with Mr. Cross wouldn't hurt especially since you're the only person that has anything positive to say about him.

Purchased snake

Charles, your right. I should have been a little more specific. I purchased an .1 cbb. Female emerald tree boa. I can't remember where, it was here or K.S. I replied to the ad and the story went as stated above. No, Brian did not contact me from the hospital, but as soon as he was home, he took care to inform me and set a date.
So again, i would not personaly be afraid to buy from Brian again.

Gary thank you very much for answering my questions I really appreciate it, and hope your ETB is doing great!! I'm guessing you were one of the four people Brian shipped snakes out to that he was talking about in an earlier post. If you don't mind providing some more info about the shipment it would also be appreciated! Was the Emerald shipped UPS? Did you get a tracking number for the shipment or a notification email from UPS that a package was on its way? Thanks again Gary!

I also want to add that in my post above I mentioned that the issue of the snakes well being had not been addressed. I need to correct that, as I just noticed it was brought up by a few people. It's been a while since I read the whole thread and probably should have reread it before posting again. Doesn't change my feelings about what I said only that it had been mentioned by others when I said it wasn't brought up yet.

For all those of you who have scammed by this guy, I have contacted the police in his area and they said they would be willing to help if we filed a police report. I plan on filing a police report very soon so maybe if they get enough people filing reports against him, they will investigate hopefully.

I will do so as soon as I can that scumbag scammed me out of $1900. Thanks for taking your valuable time to get this furthered by the law I speak for myself and others when I say we greatly appreciate it.

You're welcome. If anybody wants to contact me via email so it's not on here where he could potentially see it, my email is [email protected]. Please put in the subject line "Going after Brian Cross" so I know it's not spam. I've also ran a background check on all the Brian Cross's in the nation and have the list narrowed down to a few of them. I'm pretty sure that's his real name because when I called the number I found on whitepages.com and a number I've talked to him on before, his sister picked up and said "he doesn't live here, but he visits a lot," so I at least know he lives in the area. He'll get what he deserves, even if we have to go out there and do it ourselves. He's scammed way too many people and should never be allowed in the reptile industry again.

For those who have been scammed by Brian Cross/Chris Holmes, I have a friend who has connections that can get the police reports pushed through faster so there is a greater chance of something getting done. There are also several people I have contacted that are filing police reports and the total monetary damages between us are significant enough to get noticed by the police. Please contact me at [email protected] if you would like more details. Put "Going After Brian Cross" in the subject line so I know it's not spam. Please help us take down this guy. Thanks.

Where did the other $1000 come from? you have said it was $900 in Dubias and now your out $1900?

Wooowwww, I just ran across this thread...I gotta wonder if this "Brian Michael Cross" is the same "Mike Cross" to whom I loaned out a nice male wood turtle (insculpta) some years ago...After about 8 months, when I asked him how it was doing, how it had done with his female, he suddenly stopped answering my emails & then blocked my phone calls! Flat out STOLE my critter after I trusted him! He was in the Maryland area, too.

Nothing is too bad to happen to filthy grifters like this, hope his hospital stay (if it actually happened) was VERY painful & expensive...Karma is a bitch...
