    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

this is my first post on the BOI, but I just wanted to say a few positive words about Brian Russo from Russo's Reptiles in Portland, Oregon (www.russosreptiles.com).

i have ball pythons and green tree pythons, but recently started getting curious about red tail boas. i looked around a few forums and found a user who recently had received three great looking boas from Russo's Reptiles, so I sent an email with my parameters. Brian responded to every email i wrote almost immediately and patiently answered all of my inane "first-timer" questions regarding RTBs. a week or so later, he shipped me a normal 100% het coral albino male that arrived this morning (via FedEx) for an extremely reasonable price that included shipping. the snake arrived ornery as hell, but alert and in perfect health. he is also brighter than almost any normal i've seen, so i'm very pleased. great customer service, great animals. if i start investing in boas, Russo's will be the first place i look.
