    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Well an-al, I am so sorry that you missed the point of my request to you to lighten up on Sybella.

Although she was the specific impetus for the comment it was also to enlighten you that it was very uncool to say at all to any woman who has had a problem with an abusive man. Did you miss that because it was so close to home? Do you only beat your woman/women on the weekends or is it an all the time thing for you.

I may have been the guy who said something about it but there was a collective cringe throughout the BOI when you wrote it. I'd be embarrassed to if I was you. It was out of line and unnecessary but, you do like to attack. It's cool. Like a vicious dog people will learn to avoid your yard because you just can't control yourself.

Nah Wes, All joking and wisecracks aside, I never stole from you or anyone else. I am not a theif and have never been one. I have always had an ability to make money in an honest way. I was never on any "crime spree", lol. I had two DUI's 10 years apart and went to prison for the accidental death of my best friend. There's no crime spree in that. Common man, that was uncalled for.

I apologize for calling you a "slime ball". I don't know for a fact that you had anything to do with shutting me down. Only what I heard from a guy named "Art" from Orange County. I don't remember his last name as it has been over 15 years now. But he was about 30 (then) had a gotee and was short and a tad heavyset. He kept pythons and boas and a lot of other exotics.

Now can we bury our own hatchet? You seem like a fairly nice guy and it suddenly hit me that if I expect the benefit of doubt from other people, that I should first extend it to others. So I am hereby extending the benefit of doubt to you and the others I heard took part in that and believe nothing without proof.

Anaconda Al has been suspended pending payment of a $10 fine.

Honestly, I did not think HE was the one who this would happen to in this thread.....
 
With all due respect webslave, I'm a bit confused here. Wendy comes here UNPROVOKED for the sole purpose of bashing Al and I, Wes calls Al anal and uses the word "jackass" on page 85, yet Al is banned for defending himself? He was not nearly as derogatory as Wendy or Wes. Are they getting fined as well?

Have you ever seen those security bubbles at the department stores? They are all over the ceilings there, aren't they? Everyone knows that not all of them can possibly be manned all of the time, but you never know which one might be active and catch YOU in the act of shoplifting. That's the theory behind their design. Yes, you can take your chances, and you may very well get away with it. Sometimes.

Well, I am one of those security bubbles here, in how I may drop in on a thread. I don't care what someone else did, when they did it, or why they did it, because it does not excuse anyone else from acting the same way. If I should decide to go back through the thread and see similar abuses like you are talking about, well yes other people could be subjected to a fine as well.

But don't hold your breath waiting, if you think I am going to drop everything else I am doing in order to do so.

I think I have mentioned my MO many times on this site. So this should not come as any surprise to people who bother to read what I have posted elsewhere.

And no, the suspensions and fines are not a committee decision, nor subject to review by anyone else here. The people I decide to levy a fine upon can either pay it, or stay gone forever. I really don't care one way or the other. This way it is at their option, not mine whether they come back or not.

If they just register again as someone else and I become aware of it, I will delete every word they post here from the time of their original suspension. This is remarkably easy and effortless for me to do.

By the way, who was this "preemptive" fine paid for specifically and why? Was it paid in your name or Wendy's? Did you submit the "preemptive" fine because you are aware of your instigating tendencies? Funny how the only posts you two have submitted were aimed at Al and myself. It is clear that you two "adults" are here for one reason only. Who is acting childish? But for your actions, this confrontation WOULD NOT exist. Happy New Year to you as well.

I paid a $10 fee/donation for the simple fact that you thought it unfair that Wendy wasn't fined and 3rd Grade Al was. So I paid the fine, making it even. I also feel that the BOI is deserving of a $10 donation so it's not a loss for me.
 
Webslave, you may not be aware of it, since you cannot man all those bubbles all the time but, Realvenom, whose name is also AL had requested that someone come up with some way to distinguish between he and anaconda al. Since anaconda is such a long word I just came up with the shortened an-al.

So really I was just trying to help by keeping them separate in other readers minds.

Ohhhhhh, now I see the problem. Silly me. ANAL and an-al are so close as to be almost indistinguishable from eachother. I should have gone with ana-al. That's much better.

Ok guys, from now on it's ana-al and not an-al.

would it not be fair to say that this thread is dying a slow and miserable death?

I have been going back and forth with Damon (via email) for the last couple hours. he has confirmed A LOT of what I questioned and even posted some of it here on this very thread. What more is left to say other than Damon has some work to do.....of which I told him (more or less) in our emails to each other. He knows he has made mistakes and I feel (this may surprise you since I was so heavily involved in this stuff) that he is being forthright and truthful at the moment.
I do not defend him and his actions, but let's leave well enough alone.

You all kow there will be yet another thread someday that will consume every moment of our day for 4-5 days like this one. In the mean time why don't we all go back to our critters, that which brings us to know this board to begin with.
I am finished.........at least I hope to be (LOL) and I wish you all a very HAPPY NEW YEAR and hope you all have great successes with your ventures in '04.
