8. Kidnapping-holding that woman, at gunpoint,
within his home.
9. Operating under a slew of false names.
10. Misrepresenting his animals-posing his albino
granite burms near miniature dollar bills.
11. Threatening lawsuits against this site and

All you've got here is that he tends to spew at the mouth when he's hot-headed. That means he is a "very bad guy," huh? I think it's good that the thread title hasn't been edited...I would hate myself if I was so mean.

And yes, Damon is a very nice person. Most of the above happened while he was drinking regularly, which is no excuse. However, he's been sober for a long time now and is everything I've said he is and more.

Lastly, Damon calls me by my middle name, as my personal friends and family do.

I am also reluctant to defend against this because it seems almost pointless. It seems that anyone can come here on these forums and make ANY allegations against anyone at any time whether they are true or not. (Webslave/BOI administrators, isn't there some rules in place against spreading lies about another person?)

Now, Gino, the irony of your whole post here and your apparent vendetta is that I am actually a good person. I will address your ridiculous charges one by one just to set the record straight as very little of what you alleged below is actually true. I am going to find out if the things you state as fact below are libellous and if they are I am going to file suit against you for slander and defamation of character. I was messing around with Ritchie when I said that, but I will follow through against you as you seem dead set on perpetuating lies about me.

I challenge you or anyone else to find ANYONE ANYWHEE that I ever sold a sick snake to, cheated out of money, or just plain did a bad deal with. You won't find any because I run an honest business. I don't screw people over and I don't sell sick snakes. Any sick snakes I bought were kept in and died in quarantine. They were never entered into my colonies. Now,. if you are confusing my sick colonies of the late 80's, early 90's, then rest assured those are all long gone from nearly 15 years ago. And they were sold to a fellow herper that knew they were sick and he wanted to try to cure them.

Secondy, I don't have any "vehicular Homicide" charge on me. True enough I went to jail for the accidental death of my best friend in 1991, but it was a death caused by an accidental firearm discharge. Not a car accident. The only "weapons related" offense I have is a charge in that very case because the gun had been modified. I don't have quote, "an assortment of weapons-related charges"

I had two DUI's, one in the 80's and one in the mid-90's. But I quit drinking October of 2002 forever, so my drinking past should not even be an issue here.

I did post under false names, yes this is true. But all my friends and customers know who I am.

While it is true that I placed a miniaturized bill in several pictures of my snakes, it was not with any intention of fooling any potential customers. I had found that I loved posting in forums and had to look like a different person with different snakes so that the BC forum guys would leave me alone. I make no excuses and do not regret this. The posting was nice for a couple of months until I was betrayed by someone that I thought was my friend.

As I said, I was simply messing with Ritchie. But I am going to file on you Gino if I can. Enough is enough.

I have ZERO sick snakes in my colonies.. I have 100% healthy, closed colonies. I have a few snakes with spinal deformities in quarantine, but they are in perpetual quarantine and will never be introduced to my colonies, even though my vet assures me that the deformities are non contagious ailments likely caused by inbreeding (not by me, by the breeder I got them from).

I was told that Wes Pollock was part of an effort to shut me down as a private breeder (in the late 80's). But I have pretty much made my peace with him.

I never made any "wild allegations" about Bob Clark. I simply told a precious few people about all the flawed or sick or missexed snakes I got from him. It isn't "allegations". It's something that you lack in your posts,.. FACT. I had more problems with Bob's snakes then all the other breeders I bought from COMBINED! But then again, I found out that Bob sells other people's snakes as his own. So I guess I can't say for sure if they were really his, now can I?

I never had ANY part of ANY theft of ANY pet shop or ANY herp period, ANY TIME. I challenge you to find a SHRED of proof showing otherwise. Otherwise cram your allegations where the sun doesn't shine and shut up about it.

I appeal to your sense of reason and fair judgment. Shouldn't there be a requirement of proof for one to make allegations about someone? I mean, can anyone really just come on here and say anything about another person without any proof or evidence? I don't even know this guy Gino and he doesn't know me and he can come here and post factually that I am "guilty" of all that he said? Please tell me that this is not the way it is here. There has to be some system of checks and balances so that innocent people are not "convicted" of false accusations.

If this can go on like this then this board serves little purpose for a just means of determining character or merrit.

People that don't know me can tell lies, but when people that DO know me attempt to speak on my behalf, there is an attempt to discredit them and their input is taken with a grain of salt.

Plus, shouldn't there be some form of a requirement that the issues remain herp related? How does my DUI's or my friend's accidental death come into play in here? It was just a malicious attempt to make me look bad. Sure they may be the only things true in all that has been said. But it has nothing to do with reptiles or the reptile business.

As a point of order can't you instruct folks to either produce evidence of their claims or to not make unsubstanciated allegations at all? Also, can't you instruct people to remain within the boundaries of this board, which are reptiles and reptile business issues?

Man Ritchie, you have run this into the ground. And the way you're going off on Sybella is totally uncalled for. She knows the good side of me and is posting what she knows. She's one of the most beautiful people I know in this whole messed up world and for you to shred her this way is uncalled for and inappropriate. (I must appeal to the webslave to say something about this as I feel it is so unfair). Where is it written that only bad things may be posted about someone? The moment someone says something nice about me they must either be deluded or a bad person too.
Furthermore Ritchie, when I said you were lying it was when you were calling me a thief and multi-posting that I had ripped off pet stores and was ripping off herp customers. You WERE lying then. All I am really guilty of is of emailing angry letters to a few @$$holes that were thoroughly shredding me in open forums over a year ago. Most any man can be pushed to this point.

And Patrick,
I can understand why you were/are so mad at me. I can also understand why you may hate my guts. You saw the absolute worst of me and never saw any of my good sides. I was drunk off my gourd all of those nights and don't even remember half of what you and the others say I wrote. But I don't deny that it got very very ugly and that awful things were written. But man,.. that was a long time ago. What I don't understand is why you are still so upset. Okay, so you come here with a few others like Ritchie and thoroughly discredit me and run me through the ringer. Isn't this enough for you? Can't you now move on with your life?

And to both of you, I am not just a bad person. I have also done many good things throughout all the years. Just a couple that may interest you (especially you Cap since you know the guys). During that time on the bc forums when there were intense flame wars between myself and numerous others siding with Jay Owens I had a peripheral flame war with a guy. Remember Scooter, Patrick? Remember when he posted that he killed all those cats? Well I love all animals and was appauled by this so I posted that I thought what he'd done was terrible and he and I got into it really bad. Well about a month or two after that his baby burmese that he got from Kolleen Jenks was in a bad way and was dying of malnutrition due to not feeding. I wrote him and offered to send him a tube feeder for free so that he could safely force feed his baby burm. He accepted and I overnighted the tube feeder. I never asked for anything in return, it was just for the snake and I would do it again. I would do it if it were your snakes Pat, and I would do it if it were Ritchie's snake too. There comes a time when the people don't really matter nearly as much as the animals.

Another time that I gave of myself to a virtual stranger was when Ben Rogers (BenR79) was being pushed around by his City pretty bad and they were threatening to take his snakes away. He posted on open forums that there was going to be a city council meeting on a certain date to determine if an ordinance would be passed banning large pythons that would lead to the confiscation of his snakes. Well, I drove nearly 2 hours to that meeting on that night and spoke against this ban. Only one other person besides myself showed up to support Ben and that was a guy that drove even farther than me from the high desert. I forget his name. But none of Ben's other good buddies from the forums came to support him. I did and I hardly knew/know him. I doubt he will ever come here to back this up because I know that he doesn't want to be seen associating with me. I don't blame him. Anyone that speaks on my behalf is instantly villainized and condemned as equal scum.

Anyways guys, I can see that nothing will have any positive effect on attempting to bring this attack on me to an end. So have at it. I will stop trying to defend against it. Just for the record though, I think this forum is no better than the bob clark forums when it comes to the fact that anyone can come on here and say anything about anyone without any proof and can get away with it.

Also, for the record, I don't hold any grudges against anybody from any of this whole mess. I am going on with my life and my breeding. Good luck to everyone in their own breeding endeavors.

This is a total lie. When I got up in the morning, Damon had already posted 6 or 8 times. By the time I read through 3-4 pages of stuff, everyone had already guessed who "Josh Burm Guy" was. As soon as I posted, I confirmed it...Unless you missed it when I said, "Since Damon is posting for himself," or, "Damon just said...." Meanwhile, you guys were going on about the other kid on Kingsnake and I got called a liar for saying that wasn't Damon's account.

My gosh! If I tell you guys what I know, I get called a liar. What's the point?

I would NEVER photo shop someones pictures and then call him out for it. That's like framing him.

so what is this big bob clark story? and yeah the first photo was real and the 2nd (the one i reposted) was faked by moveing the dollar bill and makeing it smaller to make the snake look larger. so if those where from his account you should explain why you are makeing fake photos? and one wonders if you faked that photo how many more have you done? and to luna thanks for letting everyone know that how you came about the pictures and that they where made by damon and not your self

Vince, he's admitted to the dollar bill thing already. I had a small part in the Bob Clark mess and was bitter toward Damon for a while. We later exchanged a few e-mails and worked things out and as far as I know we don't have a problem with each other anymore. I'm not going to go through life being mad at someone unless I feel they represent a threat to my family. Ritchie is just doing what he does best and Patrick's recollection of the BC forum events are accurate. All the hostility really isn't good for anyone. Accusing Damon of something you don't know for sure is true is just stupid and serves no purpose.
