    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Does anyone have a phone number or any other contact information for Briarpatch Herps?

I ordered some some Indian Star Tortoises from him 2 weeks ago and still waiting. Last I heard he was having back problems and was bed ridden. The last email I got from him was Thursday last week, but I still don't have my Star Tortoises. No replies to my emails or anything since Thursday (Oct. 14). If anyone has any info, I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Louis, William Horn is an honest guy. If you have not heard from him it is because of a serious illness, perhaps hospitalized. He will do the right thing. I know it sucks waiting for long periods for expensive herps and an undetermined shipping date. Especially when you can't contact the seller. William will take care of his end. Please be patient and know that he is a man of integrity. David Boggs
 
I hope your right on that one for the buyers sake!
I emailed him MULITIPLE times asking for pictures of some of the torts he was advertising. After several excuses (back problems, animals already sold, sister had passed away and he was making the funeral arrangements etc.)I finally gave up.
Then a few days later I had several friends call and email me advising me to check Briarpatchs' most recent ad on Kingsnake because he was using pictures of animals I had produced in his ad. One of my friends had already emailed Mr. Horn telling him that he knew who produced and owned the animals he was advertising as his available animals and asked him if he had my permission to use the photos. Ten minutes later the ad was gone before I had a chance to see it (Luckily one of my friends saved it before Briarpatch deleted it).
I emailed Mr. Horn about this incident and he gave a not so plausible explanation of how he had mistakenly used my pictures for his ad. In addition he denied receiving an email from my friend stating that he realized his mistake on his own and pulled the ad after only 1 minute or so.
The photo in question was a collage of 5 individual photos I had taken and sent to prospective buyers. The animals had been removed from the background in each picture and then placed together on a white background. In addition each animal had very subtle changes made to their markings which leads me to believe that some effort was made to alter the appearance of my offspring in the hopes that no one would notice.
To sum it up, I have never completed a transaction with Mr. Horn but after this incident I never will!
I truly hope you get your animals and hope they are everything you thought that they would be.

Tired of Waiting

I am to the point I just want my money back. I understand he has been having problems, but when you have over $1000.00 of someone elses money, some attention should be given. I have not heard anything in almost a week now and it is coming up on 3 weeks since I sent him the money. He has my phone number. A phone call can't hurt. If anyone has an adresss or phone number, please send it my way.
