As far as I know bud has NEVER contributed anything of any value to this site. He's supported neil "the liar" gubitz, sal "the theif" tornambene and brucie "the crybaby" stephensen as well as a plethora of other scumsucking leaches.

I fine that using the ignore feature on him makes any thread he's involved in much more palatable.

Afterall, if you don't read one of bud's posts, what have you really missed?

Only good news about Bruce Stephenson !!

I just recently sold a 1.2 of my adult het pieds to Bruce. What an absolute pleasure it is doing business with him. He was very polite even with the death of a family member holding us from doing almost any business at all. He was very patient and always kept the e mails and phone calls going. He even waited for everything to settle down on my end with the funeral and etc... for me to ship the snakes to him. He is one of the good guys no matter what all the B.S. gossip brings from the Fauna crowd. He gets an "A" in my book. It's just too bad that others can't see that he is a good guy and like to run off of topic about him. This thread started off as "Bruce Stephenson-good guy". Let's keep it that way. JMHO.

Off topic? Gossip? No, actually it's known as fact. Like I said, I used to feel the same way you do about Bruce. Then I happened to disagree with him about something and politely stated such, and he resorted to posting some really nasty things about me here. I even stated that I thought he was a fantastic customer, but I simply disagreed with him on that one thing.

So I guess as long as you never tell Bruce you think he is wrong about something, then he is a good guy. Trust me, the man will turn on you in an instant. Unless of course his money buys your undying loyalty, in my case that would be no.

This is what I wrote on another site that caused him to turn on me.

I have to say that I have sold to both Bruce and GKO Reptiles and both were fantastic customers to deal with. My thoughts on this situation are very clear and concise. If I know that I am to be receiving animals on a particular morning, I make sure that I am home and ready to receive them. Now, some things are out of our control so to speak (what if Bruce was in the bathroom, what if an emergency came up and he had to leave etc, when Fed Ex rang the doorbell). Still, I feel as a customer it is my responsibility to make sure I am home and able to receive the animals I know are arriving that morning when they arrive. If GKO's written terms on their website state that their live arrival guarantee is null and void if the package isn't signed for, then the situation is pretty clear. I ship all my geckos, no matter the value, signature required. I do not want my animals left on someone's porch, I want them signed for and received by the buyer.

Sorry Bruce, I just truly feel you are in the wrong on this one. Especially if they offered to meet you halfway on the deal and you declined. I just don't see how any of it is GKO's fault. They did the proper thing by shipping their animals signature required, I expect no less from anyone that ships geckos to me. BTW, Christine, do you have a copy of the email where you guys offered Bruce half the money back? It might be helpful if you go ahead and post that here.

You had a good experience and posted it. Congrats. Outside of that trying to have others drop their postings of legitimate bad business experiences is the same as those with a bad guy opinion of him telling you not to post any good experiences.

Both have validity IMO. Both should be here.

Wow, what is it with you and Bud??? It is unbelievable, YES YOU HAD a good transactions, applaud applaud. But how can you say others go off topic about and and making the bad points about Bruce seem invisible, when in reality, IT IS supported BY FACTS and PROOF??? You and Bud "Here no evil, speak no evil!!"

EVEN SOME OF THE PEOPLE who even posted good about him changed their opinion about him and no longer will proceed in risk taken deals.

I don't care for either of them but that opinion was not based solely on how they stick together or how Bruce tried to scam GKO.

I originally didn't care for them because it's just plain wierd for grown men to act like they are "Jedi's".

Alright guys I swore I would never take part in this Jedi nonsense anymore. Well, Here we are. Wess' links dont work because well for some reason he is getting screwed over with what he can post. To make a long story short Bruce purchased 6 geckos from us. We shipped them to him and he said he would be up to receive the package. I am up and watching that computer to see delivery has been made but to my surprise it said there was a problem. I was the one to call everyone I was the one to get the delivery guy to go back. Bruce was the one not to get the package twice and then lied to me saying he was there but the guy ran from him. Now when I talked to the FedEx manager on duty he said Bruce left a note on the door saying he would be back. Sounds great to me doesn't it. Well, Bruce had to go to work. I had to call out of work to drive from Orlando to Tampa and I was the one to pick up the package at the Tampa facility. All but one were dead. Bruce wanted a full refund we said no. We left him a voicemail on his phone saying we would personally give him the live gecko and refund half of his money. He said NO we would be hearing from his lawyer. Well after everyone at another gecko forum said he was in the wrong all of the sudden he just wanted half of his money and swore we never offered it. After talking to our lawyer he said not to refund anything and to get the papers from his lawyer. Well they never showed and he never talked to us again. This is after he tried to slander our name and business. So There coming from the source. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED. NOW EVERYONE LET IT BE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not taking anyones side. I dont want this to open back up to an open arguement. So this was our dealing and we will never do business with him again. Great if you had a good transaction but we personally will never ever deal with the guy again whether this means anything or not. Email us at [email protected] if you have any questions.
