retention certainly is a way. that is/was my point. you cant base all genetic outcomes on what is being bred at that time or what offspring "should" be
and exactly, although there is a "formula" for what percentages and outcomes should be, you truly never know.
again, an anery x snow, should give no normals, only snows and anery het albinos, and probably not what actually happened with this litter, just stating that it could happen, whether it be retention from another male, or some freak genetic happening or whatever.
im interested, however, to see the pics of the litter and the parents and what else he has to say
