    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have two def females that have been caged together for almost 2 yrs now with no problems. This past spring, I put them in a new cage and added a 3rd female. Again, no problems, but recently there has been a few minor tiffs (no damage) and just today I caught one of the original one trying to mate the the other original girl. The newer girl is the largest of the 3. Anyone know what causes this behavior? Do I need to keep them seperated? or will it die down in the fall so I can winter them together? And does it mean the one she was trying to mate to is ovulating? This is the 1st time I've had any sexual confusion in my collection. lol

I had this same thing happen with one of my females. She's previously layed eggs fine, but then one year I removed the male because I wanted to use a different male. When I introduced the male a few months later, I noticed lots of skirmishes. One of the females had gone "buldgy" and was scrapping with the male and mating with the females (she actually developed functional hemipenes and to date, she's the only leo that I've had prolapse a hemipene). I kept her with a her own harem for a few years. She bred all the females, but the eggs were always duds. Shortly after her change, I put her back in with the male that she had formerly bred with. The male reacted violently and attacked her as if she was a he. You'll probably be fine keeping her with females, but not males.
