    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

OMG!!! Even into high school, my kids BEGGED me to make these for their birthdays...I can see that when grand-kids come along, Grandma Gecko will be making them...AGAIN. INGREDIENTS 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese 2 egg 2/3 cup white sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips 3 cups all-purpose flour 2 cups white sugar 1/2 cup cocoa 2 teaspoons baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 2 cups water 2/3 cup vegetable oil 2 tablespoons distilled white vinegar 2 teaspoons vanilla extract DIRECTIONS Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly butter muffin tins and set aside. Beat together the cream cheese, egg, sugar and salt. Stir in chocolate chips and set aside. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Add the water, oil, vinegar, and vanilla. Beat until well combined. Batter will be thin. Fill muffin cups 1/3 full with the chocolate batter. Top each one with a spoonful of cream cheese mixture. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Can be frosted, but it's not really necessary. For birthdays, I use a white or chocolate butter cream frosting, just because they look nicer.

These sound so good, and my daughter loves cupcakes! I might have to steal this recipe for Christmas time. :)
