In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Buying a few...check this out (not leo related)

Finding your prized female that got loose over a year and a half ago 2 floors down - Priceless

yep..this girl got out almot 2 years ago, we got a call from our super asking if we had any snakes loose, i said no. not thinking that it could possibly be my female, but i went down there anyway, since the COPS were all afraid to get it out from under the WASHING MACHINES, i got it out with a pair of tongs and realized it was my female by her pattern,.. oooh happy day!

the best part is..her last weight recorded was 125g, and her weight now is 345g.. not mnuch for a year and a half, but she probably did not have a meal each week..

we will be taking her to a vet soon, just to make sure she hasnt been eating any poisoned mice...

lol thats a good way to get rid of a mouse or rat problem in a house. i would have died if one of my snkaes got away. my dad has a snake phobia. ive had that problem with dragons and leos but not a snake. its good shes still alive and well. :)

would have been alot easier to find her if i was in a house, lol, i like in a 6 floor apt building..i definitely figured she was probably dead, i'm very happy i was wrong

Excellent story Dan! That’s the way all stories should end… happy. :D I’m glad you got her back.

Wow Dan that is truly amazing. I bet you about crapped yourself. Truly happy for you and I hope she comes back from the vet with a good bill of health.

Wow.... still sitting here in amazement. Too cool.

lol, that is a great story,,, you gotta love snakes, they are tough as nails. My boa has not escaped yet (*knock on wood*), but she spends the majority of her day trying to figure out how. I am thrilled that you found her!

you got that right..i thought i was going to find a small cornsnake, but when i pulled her out from under the washing machine i immediately recognized her tail pattern, and just about lost my breath, lol

Impressive.

I am surprised no one noticed any signs of its habitation down there.... ie. excrement, etc.

Wow Dan, I am so happy for you! That is a great story! You should definately play a lottery ticket today.

i was surprised about that also, but they have a small dog down there that poops everywhere, judging by the 5 inch long fecal matter i found in her tub the other night, i dont know if they could have noticed it wasnt dog crap...lol

i am also surprised the dog didnt try to kill it, if it ever saw it

Wow, that is amazing Dan. And your super didn't freak out about a loose snake?
I have a friend who has a few of my Leos. One got out and every now and then would pop out of a wall heat vent then dart away again....1 1/2 months later he got her...in the basement I think...amazing what reptiles canendure. She is skinny but eating and fattening back up for him.
I wonder if any little kids in your building are missing their hamsters? hahaha
I really don't like hamsters...they always bite me.

lol, my super was the one to call me, i dont think there is a single person that doesnt know i have a ton of reptiles, lol, no hamsters missing as of yet, but their has been a shortage of mice, haha luckily our vet said she is very healthy and has no signs of any bacteria from the mice she ate down there.
