    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I've been lurking around fauna a while and have decided I know enough to buy my first leopard gecko. I like it here and everyone seems to be very nice and knowledgeable. I will be getting only one leo, I already have its tank setup but I have to wait till Christmas, it seems so far away considering its like 40 Days. I have a 20 gallon long tank, have made a humid hide and a couple normal hides. Since I don't have rack systems like many people I opted to go with the UTH and a alife thermostat. I will be using paper towel as my substrate as I will probably be getting a hatchling. I would really like to buy from a breeder but the weather in New York wouldn't permit shipping. I already have everything I need but the gecko:D , I ordered Calcium without d3 and I have some with it, I also ordered some other vitamins. Hopefully I will be successful but wont be able to breed leos ill im out of college, my parents would kill me. ;) If you would like to add anything that I should add to my setup please reply. Thanks for listening, Mike.

GOOD LUCK! Mabye you'll get lucky and we will have a good winter this year (NO SNOW!!!). Even though im still in snow and it benefits us by having snow days... but i hate the cold, and ya cant ship or get any leos during the winter here in PA because the weathers so crappy.

Once again GOOD LUCK!!!!

lol, DUH I FORGOT SOMETHING!!! what kind are you going to get? If you really want to breed get something with nice color and hopfully your parents will warm up to it... thats what mine did!

Well the main reason i cant breed is i have to leave for college next year and my parents dont want to take care of to many animals while im gone. Ugg its already snowed here, but it melted:) Cant wait for the cold weather to be gone. Im just looking for something that will make a good pet, i was thinking about a tremper but havent decided yet.

I know what ur talkin about... it snowed here too. Thankfully it melted!

But yeah trempers are nice...
