    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

My CBB baby Certophrys aurita arrived from Pat Kline Luxurious Leopards from Pennsylvania. He is currently the only guy offering CBB aurita on fauna. This is one of the rarely offered "Pacman" frog subspecies. This is a frog that is called the Giant Brazilian Horned frog in old books and documentaries. I read females are known to max out at 9 inches when they were described in the wild. Males are known to reach 5-7 inches I recently read. The second largest frog known is the Pyxiecephlus Adspersus, (African Bullfrog), so these definitely compete with that frog. I am keeping this baby in a large 24 inch long tub with coco fiber and a bamboo hide. Not to mention a shallow dish of water and a digital thermometer/hygometer. I will see how this baby grows up with Calcium supplement and multivitamin food.

That's a nice Aurita, Pat sure does have some nice frogs (I have a couple from him). Good luck with yours and make sure to post some pics as he gets older, I would love to see his size.

Thanks for posting who you purchased your specimen from.

I would also bet that not many people have CBB C.aurita available at all.

That is for sure.

Wow...that is one impressive Ceratophrys size wise, that is for sure.

Your set up sounds good, in my humble opinion. I can't wait to see more picture's of your specimen as he/she grows up. That was a fantastic photo.
