In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Inquiry C Serpents

If you click on the BOI button in his ads, a number of threads are found.

I met Chris Nettles from C Serpents at the Tampa show last weekend - super nice guy! Did not get the chance to meet Ben, but Chris was great - very customer oriented. The racks are nice - well built, quality workmanship, and very reasonable prices.

I've purchased from Chris and he is a great guy. He even carried the rack out to our car cause I'm too damn old and wore out to do it myself. Thanks Chris.

I have 2 baby racks from him...I got them right from his wharehouse...good racks...good guy...highly recommend...

I bought a cb-70 from the GA repticon. These are top quality racks. One upgrade you could do yourself is add pegs so the animal dosent push open the tub.

I have several racks from them and nothing but good things to say. Chris is an awesome guy to deal with and his customer service is second to none. One of the best things about ordering from C Serpents is the fact that you don't have to wait 4 to 6 weeks before they start to build it becuase he usually ships them out faster than the other guys can even process the order.

Awesome Rack

I like this one better than another top name brand that I bought. Also, the delivery carrier damaged the back board and Chris provided me with a replacement. Good customer service and great product. I will be purchasing again in the near future.

I havent bought any racks yet from Chris. But i sold him something and he was very very easy to deal with and a nice guy.
I will be buying a rack from him this summer for sure.

Can anyone comment on the hatchling racks? I am currently using Reptile Basics, and have no complaints _except_ the bins have to be shimmed for quite a long time to prevent escape of hatchling corns. I know I have seen these guys at shows and liked the racks well enough to pick up a business card- but I am leery of changing hatchling rack style and then not liking it as well. TIA.

I got a hatchling rack from him and really like it. The tubs fit really well IMO (though I have BPs). I really don't think you'd need shims, but I'm not totally sure since I don't keep Corns. I'm not sure how they compare to Reptile Basics, though, as I have never bought from them.

I have 2 of the hatchling racks and have not had any problems with escapes. the gaps between shelf and tub are very very small. I also haven't heard of any problems with escapes. I bought a reptile basics rack and sold it just to get the racks from C Serpents because I saw them at a show and loved them that much.

Since I got my first hatchling rack I have also purchased a second hatchling, a sub-adult (28qt), and 2 5 tub v-70s. never had a problem with any of them.

I have two. Just make sure you buy the correct tubs for them. I have iris shoebox tubs and they are not the right size. I was pretty upset by this. I had to spend a lot to buy new tubs. I would have paid less with Reptile Basics. Otherwise, the racks are nice.

Mine came with tubs...I'm not sure if they always do or not. Just wanted to clarify.

I asked for them to be without tubs since I already had plenty. Otherwise, yes, they come with tubs. I also by my reptile basics ones without tubs.
