    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

My smaller boas love to soak in their faux rock water dishes. My 8 foot female likes to soak in it too but she's so big she displaces all the water.

Any suggestions on what to use for her soaking/water bowl that will be large enough and not cost an arm and a leg?:confused:
 
Evan, I keep rainbow boas, which love to soak. I use large plastic tubs for waterbowls, which are hard to tip over to start; and put a full gallon of water in each, making them very heavy in addition.
 
Thank you for the response. I suppose that would work if the water volume was heavy enough lol. She, s a 30 pounder. I was really thinking like a ceramic planter or something. I am not sure.
 
If you can't find an appropriate sized plastic storage tub that will work for your girl, try one of the concrete or soil mixing tubs. You can find them at garden centers, nurseries, Lowes, Home Depot, etc. for under $10.
 
I use cat litter boxes, they are available in different sizes, colors and have always worked well. Cost is low as well.
 
I like to use the 3 gallon stainless steel dog bowls for larger females. They're typically large enough for even the larger females to soak in.
