Yes! Caiman Lizards are back!
We have only a limited number this year (less then 20) when we usually get over 100!
Reason being the farms and hatcheries experienced very bad hatch year and its down almost 90% - this will be pretty much all for the YEAR - unless some wild caught sub adults come in but we dont sell those, only ch babies.
We have the BEST Caiman Lizards around year after year for a reason!
We start them off on frozen thawed snails, and mix it with wet cat food, and ground turkey to get them eating consistently. After a week or so they are on ground turkey, pinkies, frozen seafood, frozen snails as treats, etc
We also have a Veterinarian supervised protocol for parasite treatment - we got them in 2 weeks ago, and they are almost done with treatment middle of next week. This ensures thriving, healthier, vigorous babies that will do well for you!
They are usually full of parasites, even the ch ones due to the food they are fed at the farms, and we treat them with a full array and protocol designed by our Vet. After a week of hydration, feeding, etc we start the treatment.
After about 14-16 days the treatment is done, and they are ready to be shipped - these should be treated and ready for shippping next week.
