    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Not calico. Those are common markings on hypos. I can't give you the explanation for why, cause I don't keep boas anymore, so I'm really not up on them. But I used to have a big hypo male that looked very similar to yours. With the same "skidmarks", if you will.

Oh, I see what you mean now. I didn't notice the light spots at first. I only paid attention to the black marks. But I don't think that would be considered calicoism either. Just some funky coloration. Good lookin snake, either way. I should get a couple more nice boas. Pair of Motleys.

heres his girlfriend for this year

Just call him a T-Pos. Seems to be the thing to do these days. :rofl:

Definitely has a different look. I don't know a thing about Calicos. First one I saw didn't do much for me, so I never looked anymore. :shrug01: But there is something going on with the splotchy-ness it appears.

Good luck
Rick

Some nice colors going on. I like the untraditional look of that boy too. Couldn't say for sure about the Calico, but it's something different, that's for sure.

Good luck.
Rick

A short calico lesson for those out there, calico's were bred out by CV Exotics, they bred a hypo cross (they would not say exactly but my guess is a hypo x hogg island) to an albino double het for snow. There were only about three babies in the litter that came out as calico's. The pictures they use on their website stink, so here are some I took at Daytona last year of the few they had on display.

What I like is that each boa has a different base color, they are impressive in person more so then photos.

This is the first one produced by Scott. I had the pleasure of meeting him at The All New England repitle show in April of 2006.
