In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Ya, real honest people. PLEASE! EVERYONE knows there is no "true" red in beardeds, they are all a shade of orange. These photos have been photoshoped. The backgrounds are red, the wood is pink for crist sakes.

Ya ,REAL HONEST SELLERS. Lets see that dragon outside on a hand, where skin color is blatant.

Oh, really? Maybe I missed something, but I see two pics of a dragon on a white (not pink) paper towel, and some pics of babies on a tan piece of wood. Were the pictures changed to what is there now?

Have you ever checked out Alphadragonz website, and taken a look at their breeder, Ares? He's far from orange. He is RED. No doubt about it. Or have you checked out Dachiu's website, specifically the pics of the Psycho X OGG? Again, RED, no doubt about it. Are their pics Photoshopped?

Better yet, how about this picture, by Ed Clark, himself. That sure looks like a fire engine red beard to me.

And tell me...is this Photoshopped or not? I did them side by side with the dragon they have posted, and at least to my old eyes, they're pretty darn close.

For now on if you want to address any of her ads I would suggest you keep it to this thread. I know Harald has already warned you on an earlier occasion not to drag the issues here throughout the site. Rich has asked us to put in end to the overflow from the BOI into the classifieds and elsewhere on the site. While placing a link in an ad to the BOI is acceptable, the BOI related banter within the ads is not. I don't think any further warnings are necessary in regards to this issue. Thanks in advance.

Using an exif viewer, you will see that these pictures are unedited original pictures. Its a free program you can download and install. I use it on any dragon i have interest in, because there are photoshopped pics out there. Its a great tool. Just an FYI for everyone. Thanks!

I want some of this wood

This is amazing! Check out the chameleon-like qualities of this wood! Notice if you will, how it magically fades and brightens to match the subject dragon placed upon it! Cool, eh? Certainly not photoshopped or altered.

Our pics of the breeders are taken downstairs in a basement where their habitats are- no windows, with a flash, the paler dragons get blown out due to the flash. It is very clear that the marketed on the right is flash blown out. No photoshopping has been done.

It is not my photos in question. Jeanes breeders are not for sale. Take a look at the sale dragons. Unedited. No one is being decieved.

Saladragon- That baby dragon posted here is a very pretty one, but it is still a shade of orange, not a red. I have seen a few dragons that are borderlining red. Dachui and TNT, but not quiet there yet. Also, those are upwards of $600- $800. Noone claims to have a real red dragon for $200. B.S.

If they can produce a outdoor picture on a hand, I will make a public apology. I am 210% certain that is an dark orange dragon, and not nearly as vibrant as the photos there.

Would love to see the paent pics of that baby.

Saladragon- also, that baby pic. The number 8 on it. That is a majenta- pink marking. Any shade of pink is a dirivedent of red. That marking is clearly opposite of the color of the dragon.

People have named their reds after red, but they are clearly orange. Heck we have Crimm. The originator of The crimson Red bloodline. We bought him from FoxFire when she shut down. But, Crimm is orange.A very nice orange, but orange.

And Wendy maybe you don't get the point that all images have exif data that can be viewed. And the exif data for the images pointed out by Laura clearly display that the images have been altered using photoshop.
You can't lie your way out of something like that saying it's just because of where the pictures were taken.

That magic sand in the background that changes color would be a hot seller too. :D

Nice catch Laura

Give it a shot Wendy...maybe you can get both feet in your mouth after your next post

None of my photos have "sand" in the background. The only editing to mine is the size of the photo (they were taken in macro) and then the quality "saved for web".

Concerning Caliente Dragons photo. It is impoosible to check in Exif because Metadata was stripped because it have been passed through Save for Web and Devices. That action strips off data from the image. In CS4 you have the option to include the metadata in the image for the web.

Images saved in Photoshop or most other image editing programs can be "saved for web" which not only decreases the size of the file but also eliminates all of the exif data. Most people that know anything about webdesign and digital photo use the "save for web" option when saving pics to put on a webpage, therefore many pics posted on the internet will not display any exif data. Just sayin.

I apologize ahead of time for being off-topic.

Explain the Photoshopped pictures all you want; it's obvious the brightness/contrast has been fiddled with given whatever material is in the background. I'd be surprised if the color saturation hasn't been modified as well.

But explain these for me, please.

1. If you don't believe there is such a thing as a red beardie, why do I see "red" as a description all over your website?

2. Could you explain to me why you've stolen not only the nutritional content information directly from beautifuldragons.com, but you are also stealing her bandwidth by linking directly to her pictures from that page?

I was not the creator of any of the "red" bloodlines - nor was Jeane. I didn't name them- nor did Jeane. The dragons we have- their bloodlines are Chris Allen Red, Cindy Red, etc. It is appropriate to list baby dragons with their bloodline information. Jeane provides 5 years bloodline information with each dragon. It is not my opinion that any of the "reds" are named appropriate, but you'll have to take that up with the breeders who named the bloodlines.

The food chart has been on Jeanes site for years now. Information for people so they can give the proper care. I would assume she got permission years ago to post it, but I would'nt know.

I don't see any direct link anywhere, so I am not sure what you are talking about. No one is "stealing" anyones banwith.

Again, for the record, I do not own or breed any species of Dragons. I own a retail store, and privatly I breed and sell Crested Geckos- if you have ant questions about those 2 things, feel free to start a new thread and I will be more than happy to answer any questions.

Partly my fault- this thread has swayed off topic. Back to business- I am still waiting for my refund.

Yes, we do need to stay on topic, but Wendy did[/i] first bring up the "red dragon this, red dragon that" baloney and posted photos ...

I did not take any EXIF data from the photos of the magic chameleon-wooddragons I posted. I do have an EXIF reader and can, if there is data. There was none from those 4 shots. To my eyes, it looks like the hue, saturation, brightness, contrast etc may have been played with to enhance the dragons' appearances. Unfortunately, it also works on the wood, hence the different shades of the same piece of wood.

Doesn't matter how long it's been there. There is no credit given anywhere. I'll talk to the Beautiful Dragons owner and see what she has to say.

I didn't post a direct link because I figured it doesn't take a whole lot of effort to type "beautifuldragons.com" into a web browser. Guess I was wrong.

Actually, yes, she is stealing bandwidth. The photo links go directly to the photos on her website.
