• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
    Sponsors - Eliminated
Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days

On July 1, 2027, all paid memberships will be closed.

On August 1, 2027, FaunaClassifieds will be terminated.

Only change I expect that might take place is when I can get around to figuring out when the amount of money I would have to refund for the yearly paid memberships becomes less than the monthly expense of leasing my server, THAT date might be the termination date for the site.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. Calling all FireBellys BP's

Is it just me, or does it seem like there's quite a difference between the males and females markings along the belly scales. The speckling seems much more pronounced in the boy.

Gary,
Yellowbellies can be pretty variable. I don't have a whole lot of experience with them; but I have seen examples of combos that I was utterly unimpressed by, while knowing that they can be SOOOO much better. I have an adult female yb that isn't very impressive in the side view; but her belly shows the right markings...even if it isn't as obvious as some yellowbellies I've seen.
I'm not really seeing yellowbelly in the ones you posted, but maybe Jerry will find this and comment (he's a big fan of yellowbellies)

Thank you. The feedback is very much appreciated!
I see where Jerry asked for belly shots. Are the pics that I posted not showing for everyone?

I saw them...but I've had times when I couldn't see pics that other people could. If he's posting from work, photobucket could be filtered.

I realized that the limited view of the fire's belly could throw some people off, so I took another one before I brought her back upstairs.

Now this pic looks different from the first set of this girl. Does the color of the speckling go to a more uniform dark the closer you get to the vent?

On the fire, yes - she has darker, more consistent markings lower on her belly (what some people refer to as tracks).

Apparently the only thing close to a belly pic that I have. will shoot for a better one this evening
