    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

As im starting up i realized i dont have a camera and have never owned one. What is a nice camera that takes quality pics of some thing like a bearded dragon. I need it to be able to focus on all scales of a leather but also need it to be not over expensive.Any suggestions,tips,or what do you guys use? Could you tell me what camera it is and maybe take a pic so i can see quality. Thanks

All my pics are with a Canon Powershot...sometimes I seem to be able to get great detail and other times it's not so clear. My camera was bought at Wal-Mart for $130.00 and $17.00 for a battery charger. Here are a few pics,2 taken outside and 2 [ my baby hatching and a cham. at a show] inside.

You might get more feedback in a more general section of the site...the majority of people that don't keep bearded dragons don't look in this particular forum.

I have a fairly good quality DSLR (Nikon D90), and it takes great pictures...but I do most of my reptile photos with a 6yr old, 5.1mp, point 'n' shoot. You don't need high megapixels to take great pictures; you just need to pick a camera that will meet your needs, and learn to use it.

Here are a few pics from my Olympus:

oh yeah, also the fujifilm s1000fd is usually around $150-180 at walmart, but I was lucky enough to find mine on sale for around $100.

If I remember correctly, it's a black milk snake (sorry, I can't see images from here - blocked by the establishment - so I'm guessing at the order that I posted them in)
