Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Alright, so I never intended to get dwarf hamsters but thanks my one of my sister's friends I ended up with a 1.1 pair and today the fruit of their dirty lil labor was a litter! There are 8 healthy looking pinks - Mom is black, dad is agouti.

It seems every animal I touch has babies :rolleyes:
I hope I find people who will buy these lil suckers, as cute as they are I can't keep them all!

Thanks guys, there are still lil babies in there today (lifted the hide while she was foraging), I can't tell if she ate any but she seems to be doing well as a mom. She loves her hard boiled egg bits too lol

After looking up coat colors some more I think the female may actually be an umbrous?

@Lisa, yeah you might be a lil far away :p If I have trouble moving the lil puff balls I'll be sure to ask for any suggestions!

I'm thinking of waiting till these guys are 2 weeks old (and handleable), if they make it, before I start using ads locally to get a list of people lined up to sell them singly or in same sex pairs when they get big enough.

They should have some good temperments too since the parents are really good hamsters :)
(compared to the dwarfs me and my sister had when we were kids.. soooo evil lol)
