    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hello everyone I am sorry I borrowed a old Joan Rivers line but I would like to know if its possible to have a state forum on here for people to network the Hobby with people closer to them such as trading or bartering a reptile or supplies as remember one mans junk is another mans treasure.I live in DesMoines,IA 50317 I would like to network with people in my own area sometime not all the time but it would be nice to give a shout out to someone locally who you can share some advice or hell swap rats hell who knows.Well you could even do it by region like midwest,southeast,northern,etc...... I personally think a state thread would be kool and would pay my share for this convinience if it was a minimull fee.What do you think people?:)
 
We have "Social Groups" here that you can create to do that very thing.

Go to your user control panel. On the left hand side you will see all your options. In the group titled "Networking" you will see a link for "Social Groups". Click on that. It will take you to all the current "Social Groups". Scroll to the bottom and you will see a button that says "Create New Group". Just start a new Social Group for Iowa folks.
