Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I came at him too strong and he is firm that he's raising this BP correctly. The BP is on substrate, he's feeding live because it's cool, he does not use under tank heating except in winter, he feeds out of the tank (this one is a toss up) etc etc. He said that his pet store told him how to do this and obviously his pet store knows more than me!

Anyways, my hope is that if he hears from multiple sources that he might actually listen.

What do you mean by feeding outside of his tank? In another enclosure of some sort or gladiator style with a rat on the livingroom floor? He should keep that heat all year round at a consistent temp to aid in digestion.
 
Your probably right about his temps being off, you can lead a horse to water but......

Feeding out of the snake's enclosure is silly IMO but to each his/her own, that's a personal decision.

As far as feeding live being cool, it is.
What's wrong with enjoying watching an awesome creature do what it does naturally?

No offense man, but you really come off as an :censored:hole in that thread.

You could have posted that his snake was very pretty, and then sent him a friendly PM inviting him to Fauna, or even sent links to the threads with the info that you wanted to share.

Instead you jumped his :censored: over some controversial subjects (that you are not even necessarily right about,) and told him Fauna was the place to verify that you are a legend, and he an idiot.
