In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Can you put a number on your leo collection?

How many leopard geckos do you have in your collection?

Over 450. We go thru 4000 crickets a week, plus mealies and supers. Ouch ! Not to mention cleaning every 3rd to 4th day. Then, gawking and taking pics. Can you say " No Life " ?

WOW Dan ! How many you start off with this year ?

Ide better get in gear , and im crying about taking care of ONLY 100 or less .

About 40-I think-I'm too scared to actually count them-and Gez-I love each and every one of them
Obsessed-yeah-I think so
Do I have a life?
Sure-it consists of taking care of my animals-and I'm happy with it-LOL!!
Since I have caught the "Reptile Bug" (about 10 years ago)I have noticed that there are many reptile keepers that have problems that keep them from working full time outside of the home as I do
I know that caring for my Leo family keeps my mind off the pain and also gets me up and out of bed
They are great therapy!!
:)

Well I started the year with just one breeding pair and one pet leo. Now I am up to 23 and have 3 more coming next week and probally at least 2 more coming from other sources over the next few weeks. I enjoy every part of keeping them it takes me away from all the day to day BS. (Most of the time) :raspberry

Well, I started out with two breeding pairs, but I've got another pair coming in. I also got two more females. So in total, I have 7 with one egg in the incubator and I plan on getting some more eggs with this last pair. Two beautiful blizzards!!!

I've got 2....plus a 3rd on the way!! YIPEE! I'm willing to bet I'll be close to 10 by the end of the year.

  BA-HA-HA-HA-HA!!!!

That's what I said on 6/13/05....

Uh...I'll have AT LEAST 15 by the end of the month...maybe more. Lord help me at the Tinley show!

Please...no interventions are needed...I don't want to go to a GA meeting!!!

LOL, Shanti! Have a blast at Tinley!! Looking forward to pics of your acquisitions! :)

My collection has grown a bit since this thread started too. My first hatchling had recently hatched bumping me up to 10 - I was so excited to vote in that 10-25 category! Friday, I'll have to move up to the next level! :dancer01:

Well i guess I'm the oddball, I have 2. One female and 1 unknown. I don't know if I'll ever breed or not, but i do plan on getting a super snow eventually! :)

LOL wait on that super snow about 3 years and you may get one for an affordable price. 50-100 possibly? I dunno i hope at least.

my collection at the moment is at 8. I am actually looking to narrow it down to 4 only, but thats only a temporary change until I move out and get my own place....you know I will go crazy with these guys then :D

Right now, leos take up about half of my room lol  its a little crowded in there, and I am not allowed to put them anywhere else....So 4 of them really have to go. two 20 gal long tanks and a 10 gal tank are enough in my room lol. right now I have two 10 gallons, and 3 20 gallon long tanks in a 8x12 room lol or 12 x 8.... I have never been really good at measuring :)

either way...unless I plan to sleep on the sofa and move my bed out of the room, 4 little ones have to go

Since this post was revived, I figure I'd make a quick update. To quote myself...

Personally, I have 25ish. I'm anticipating a maximum capacity of 40ish by the years end, haha.
Well, we've hit our "capacity." Right now we have 44 leos, 1 fat tail, and 1 crestie. We have a few to sell when it warms up, but we still plan on sticking with our limit of 40ish breeders. These guys are so addicting!

3 Leopard Gecko Male Breeder
22 Leopard Geckos Female Breeders
30 eggs incubating
4 hatchlings
1.1 Crested Gecko

Last year, had over 100 and reduced it a lot. Times go so fast but it is better since better Bell Albinos and more narrowing toward some projects that I really want as well as saving my time.
:hehe:

Just 7. 4 tangs, 1 tang bell albino, 1 tremper albino, and a high yellow. Plus 3 eggs in the incubator, but 1 of them might go in tomorrow's garbage. Stinky, stinky, stinky!

My collection is nonexistant compaired to some on this thread! wow. . .I can't imagine caring for a few hundred geckos, that's gotta be a full time job! I'm impressed.

I've just got two geckos. :) Would like some more, but my Cal king snake and 60+ tarantulas are taking up most of my shelf space at the moment. :hehe:
