    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I want a aldabra tortoise. I notice they have them for a low price is it a scam? Where is the the best place to get aldabras?
 
Well, I'm not sure who sells them these days, but I'm sure there are plenty of people that do.... For a tortoise that's that expensive, if you DON'T want to get ripped off, I would suggest you find a dealer within DRIVING DISTANCE from you and GO THERE with CASH in hand.... Or find a REPUTABLE dealer that has been in business for YEARS, don't just buy one from Joe Shmo and ask him to ship it.... That's a problem just waiting to happen....
You can try Ed Ruby at 772-370-2806.... He's a very honest guy and specializes in tortoises.... If he doesn't have any, he will probably know where to get them.... good luck...

I never heard of canary rep or the aldabras.com site. Has anyone got animals from them. I live in idaho so its hard to drive for me to drive to get one.
