• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I'm a member. There were several posts/threads yesterday about this incident that ended up getting deleted before the story hit the national news outlets.

I wouldn't be surprised if the media got the details wrong, given how badly they usually botch articles about other controversial topics (*cough* guns *cough*).

Why would they delete them? Now that's it'd national they probably just deleted all the useful information they had against the media's interpretation
 
It was screen shotted apparently and posted to a comment. But there is to much misinformation going around and the only way we will ever know is if Terry comes here and tells his account and possibly even post photos to prove he was only bitten on the arm and nor constricted like the 911 call claims.

With that being the case, would it be best to close this thread and have a new one opened with the CORRECT name in the topic line? This thread is NOT about "Captive Bred Reptiles" so someone looking for "Captive Born Reptiles" might not find it anyway.

I am going to close it based on the reason above. If someone can present a real good reason why I should not, please PM me with your argument and I will reconsider.

I suggest that people carefully preview the information they type within the topic line. You can have the most important information in the world, but it won't do anyone any good at all if no one can find it after you post it.
