    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Carolina Reptile Exchange…going to taint a future breeders name

CRE has 2 ads, one for 4 100% het albino females and one for 1.1 pastel 100% het pieds.
I bought a 100% het albino female from Louis of XX and he also sent me his visual albino male on breeding loan for my new het female. Both of which are great. I saw CRE's ad about the 4 100% het fems and was interested. I called Louis to ask if he has any info on them (they both live in the same state) and he said that he did "good" business with them that they had bought 2.5 pastels and 4 normal yearling females which I had known about, seeing as how me and Louis speak frequently. I emailed CRE asking for a pic of the 4 girls and when they sent it I forwarded them to Louis of XX who immediately phoned me back saying that at least 2 of those girls were his normals that he had sold CRE. After comparing CRE's pics to the ones Louis had they are so far the same NORMAL ANIMALS. Upon further inspection Louis and I went to CRE's pastel het pied ad and to our shock we are 99% pos that the pastel on the left in the 2 pastel picture was ALSO one of Louis's pastels that he had sold to CRE. Louis was VERY upset about this and immediately emailed KS and FAUNA about this scam.

I am posting this for 2 reasons.
One, as a new guy I am not going to stand for people trying to scam others. I have been very lucky so far with the people I have met in the world of BPs and I expect to give the same in return.
Two, I just want to spread the word about one of those good I have met. That would be Louis is Xtreme Xteriors.

You do realize that Carolina Reptile Exchange has long been known in the industry as one of the most dishonest dealers out there? Do a search on their name here, crack open a beer and read for about 10 hours. Their history speaks for itself

Thanks for confirming what we suspected about the pastels "het pieds". We had the suspicion that they were doing that but now it's confirmed. It would be great if you could post the pictures of both the animals Louis sent as well as those that CRE had as hetero pied.

The one thing that has always bothered me is that CRE seems to only sell Hets, never any visuals.

well this situation really sucks

because they got those animals from me, and I dont want people thinking im shady or do bad business. I saw it as a sale not a prelude to fraud.I fully back my animals 10000000000000000000% I buy my animals from reputable breeders and I will NEVER sell something as something it is not. NEVER!!!!!

A important issue is before us ! A great friend and long time customer some of you may have seen in the store has been found with Cancer. Immedeate surgury is nessesary. As many of you know I too have bween in poor health, but the greater need of another is before us. A brother in the hobby, and a great ball python breeder, David will be having surgery.However the hospital costs will be staggering ! Medical can be paid over time, yes. The big problem will be the time from work with no income! as David is a single father, of 3 great kids, The local Church, our shop, and some local businesses have pitched in to help. We hope you will do the same ! a mere $25 or so is very little, but combined with 200 others we hope to raise $5000 ! this will keep a roof over his family, food on the table, and the lights and water on ! Others Im sure will just want to donate , thats fine too ! we will use that for a Christmas for his children. Please, please help out, get a ticket, or two ! Lets show that the herp comunity is the best ! and we stand by our own, all differences aside ! this is a plea for the children. I know Dave (dnreptiles) very very well, and would never think this is BS whatsoever. He actually contacted me last night about this. Through association with Dave, I would trust Mr. Cohen 100%.

It is horrible what CRE is doing to this business and the reputation of reptiles in this state.

Has anyone been raised from the dead at CRE recently?

Unless I'm missing something, it seems as if all their ads are gone from KS, including the one on the sale of the store.
 
I don't see any CRE ads on KS either.....do you suppose it's possible that they finally got caught in a big enough pile of doodoo?
 
I have been back and forth with emails between KS and me ALLLLLLL DAY. and it was well worth my time!
