So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I was more of the mind to be irritated enough with them for having, most likely, lied to me that I would be loathe to take anything else from them.

I wholeheartedly agree...

They have been a thorn in the side of many people. They need to dissapear sooner rather than later, so that people can stop being scammed from these clowns...

In line with what others have said, and in the assumption that he put you at ease with words/promises, I would only ask where is the evidence in CRE's history that they have any honor to back up those words?

Someone suggested that maybe CRE is sending out a few real hets so as to mend their reputation ? Since it would be a couple of years before these "true" hets could mend that reputation, while in the meantime CRE not only continues to be exposed for selling junk, but also seem to be soon-no-longer attached to their obligations with the sale/dissolution of their business, I would call that supposition a stretch of great magnitude !

The actions of Chris at TSE displayed what to expect of a het-scammer as the judgement day for their het-products nears. Its a guarantee that the scammer will milk things to the last drop, then exit the scene quickly thereafter.

The many customers will be sick with rage, ...... and CRE will be doomed if they ever catch up with us ... that's the illness. What a crock. Notice how the house etc was also for sale .... ie "we're so sick that we have to get out of Dodge .... even when we're sick, relocation is no problem ... heck, a good move is good for the health ... just what the doctor ordered ... try it sometime .... everyone should enjoy the therapy of moving when ill ... works wonders! " Liquidate before we face the music ! As you guessed, my view with CRE is quite cynical. :rolleyes:

regarding Carolina Reptile Exchange

I am from Boston. Mass, and now live in Charlotte, not far from The Carolina Reptile Exchange. The web site and photos of CRE are false and misleading representations of what stock the owner keeps as well as the condition of the reptiles. As of today, ( 1/20/07) Animal Control has been called down to investigate multiple counts of animal cruelty at CRE. My husband and several other customers were deeply saddened and appalled at the horrid conditions the reptiles were kept, many dead or dying, in algae covered terrariums. He said the stink was unbearable. Any true lover of reptiles and animals in general would do well to cease any and all business with CRE, as they would only be contributing to the prosperity of a reptile concentration camp.
 
Thanks for posting that information, Starr....though sadly I can't say it suprises me. Any news link or anything of the such to read more about it?

No, before yesterday I knew nothing about CRE, until my husband went out to buy me a turtle for my birthday. He went to CRE first and that's when he and 2 other people ( not customers, as they didn't buy ANYTHING there) saw the mortifying conditions of the animals and their tanks and cages. I found this site last night in a search to dig up more about CRE and discovered not only other people who have had bad dealings with CRE, but many who are familiar with their insurmountable ignorance and cruelty. Animal Welfare was called down to investigate yesterday, and i don't know if any good will result from that one call. We are going to follow up in a few weeks and if nothing has changed, I will come back to this site to gather and copy information that will help build a bigger case of animal cruelty against CRE. I read earlier somewhere that CRE was also cited for animal cruelty in Florida. Anyone who is interested in offering information in this task may feel free to e mail me at [email protected]. I am local to CRE and will be up their ass until they are shut down.
 
yea, Bruce has been nailed before for animal abuse. Except, it wasn't for reptiles, it was for starving some tigers to near death. If you google Bruce, you'll find an article about it. The funny thing is, in the article, it mentions that they contacted his mother about the charges, however, he was "too sick" at that time to answer any questions. Has anyone noticed how that man is always sick whenever some heat comes down on him?? What a load of garbage!

Oh, and as far as the animal control down here, people have called animal control on Bruce before. And somehow, nothing ever happens to him. I guess if the animals don't have hair and legs, animal control doesn't care.

I have a supposed het from CRE. I have bred it to a Ralph Davis het pied male. I hope she ovulates and goes for me. Poss hets is what I am expecting. If animal control does nothing maybe try a local TV station some how when people are put on the TV it gets them to do what they are suppose to do.
 
Ok. I guess Bruce's scam of "Fang Farm LLC" back fired, because I dont see that any more. Now, he's posting venomoids on venomousreptiles.org! That shocks me because so many people on that site must know what kind of person he is. And what kind of animals he has. I hope no one buys a thing from him. Does anyone have any new info on his "hets" that he sold?? Anyone actually prove them out?
 
as long as they did not come from a unhonest breeder and you can check their genetics, then pied is a great snake to invest in, just watch who you buy from and get your money up front if you are the seller....RIGHT ALAN
 
Uhm,....well that's the reason for this post, and the 100,000,000 other posts about CRE and Bruce, Harry, Noah, Ling, John, Mark, Tom, Ken, or whatever else Bruce wants to call himself. None of his hets have ever proven out. People are spending thousands of dollars on het for pieds and when they get them, they get skinny snakes covered in mites! His venomoids that he sells are rediculous. They never eat, and when they do, they end up regurging, and then dye. I mean, if people realized that Bruce went to jail for animal cruelty, then they probably wouldnt buy from him. Everyone needs to know about this piece of work. I'll do everything in my power to make sure people dont get screwed like the hundreds of us that already have!

Hi Everyone, I am interested to see if there is anyone out there that purchased 100% het pied females in April 2003 sold by Chuck Tornetta in New Jersey HCE Eisenman.

Chuck sold 5 female and 1 male that he got from HCE / Harry Eisenman in a trade, all 6 were micro chipped, but no photo ID.

I bread my 100% het female I got from Chuck to a 100% het male I purchased from John Manser with photo ID also purchased in April 2003 this year and got 6 eggs when they hatched last month I got no pieds!

Hope to hear from some of you guy!
