In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Casey Ritch from Norman, OK; any input?

tho I must admit I would never do business with a minor because its not a legal binding contract.. Thats law every state
All legal stuff is in my mom's name because of this fact. Everything done between me and my customers is in a legal binding contract since everything is in my mom's name. I just want everyone that has done business or will do future business to know that everything is ligit and is in legal contracts. I too am successfull seller on Reptile Auctions. I have had over 20 sells on there and all the customers that have left feedback have left me 5checks, nothing less. I do most of my business locally so I don't have to ship so that is why the number isn't higher.

Well again I would say our interaction is now concluded.. I wish you the best.. I will leave things with Casey as is and let things settle down. I have already told him that all I want is what is fair. My request was to fix my reputation on the auctions and apologize.. Thats it a simple apology and promise it won't happen again to someone else.. The snake I hope will be fine and make me a great addition to the family collection.. This little guy is intended for my son who is a budding Herp.. Thanks to everyone who participated..

This is the appropriate way to ship:

Unless you never ship in extreme weather conditions (which is impossible to make sure) shipping with just newspaper as insulation is a problem waiting to happen. Stephanie's pictures are a good representation of how animals should be shipped. When shipping small animals inside a deli though, I fill it up as much as possible with either crumbled styrofoam (as shown) and or newspaper. If one leaves too much room for the animal to move inside the deli we defeat the cushioning purpose of the newspaper.

Regards.

I have more to tell on this bad dealing with casey and will post all posts in a couple which will include the pictures of the supposed 120 gram male I purchased that is all of 60 grams. This snake has taken a turn for the worse and is clearly inrespitory distress. He is breathing very rapidly and almost hyperventalating.. Clearly not normal for a healthy male ball.. I feel really bad for thsi animal as i have no course of action to take at this point. The local emergency vet opens in two hours and my dealing with them have not been good.. The closet exotic specialist is 120 miles up north from my local and open back at 9:00 tommorrow. Please any further help with this little guy would be appreciated I am unsure what to do now.. I will post the pictures I have of this healthy animal including weight shortly...

Caleb, I checked our your pics of your box and shipping methods. Are you saying you do NOT use a styro lined box?

Stephanie, great photo illustration of a proper way to ship animals!

I have a question.

How would you recommend packaging a rock?

Anyone?........................maybe.....Casey?

I don't ship in extreme weather conditions. I only use the newspaper method during the summer months. If I ship in the winter or if the weather isn't the best I do use Styrofoam. Please understand I don't even pack the animal up until about 7pm and drop it off for shipping not long after that and I only ship for morning delivery. I do prefer to use styrofoam when shipping and I highly recomend it but I have had customers that would prefer not to pay a box charge and me just to use newspaper.

The following just so everyone can see is the Item I bid on:

Subject: Kayla Kirlin has sent you an Auction Money Request with PayPal
So either he never intended to send me the real snake or he was selling snakes that were technically not well established like he claimed. To me the novice that appears to be an irresponsible Breeder

I still have no clue Who Kayla is... I am digging further in my trash bin on the computer to find every email sent.. I did not save everything and my email account through MSN does not store emails recieved. My Zonealarm security empties my trash bin nightly so finding them may prove difficult... But as before stated I only recieved photos of a Male pastel and a female. The supposed breeder even called the female a sibling pastel but was clearly a pastel. I inquired as to a picture of the male sibling and never got one so when he called the female a sibling pastel I never thought diffrently.. Again my admitted inexperience..

For the record now I will state this.. I made my post on the Fauna classifieds not to be spiteful not to degrade him I told my story like it was.. Casey escalated this into more than a simple misunderstanding.. Now On a diffrent note all information gathered with this deal including the Fauna Classifieds have been viewed by my Attorney and will be forwarded to The reptile Auctions... Paypal Dhl and my local police department.. I was advised that this is a case of Fraud.. Mr Casey Ritch Knowingly and without concern attempted in comitting an act of Fraud.. Every one of his emails has proven my case before I even get to file the report.. I am willing to spend 10,000 to do whats right here.. I never attempted to threaten him I mean what I say, as he is unremorseful about any of this and could care less.. That is all I will comment from a legal standpoint.. The burden of Proof will fall to casey as I have showed as much documentation as i have...

Now As for the snake.. Is it correct to assume that a fresh hatchling should be watched fed and acclimated prior to being sent.. I have spent several hours now online and every site I have hit shows animal feeding records birth records etc.. Also I might add I have never seen on any site a pastel sibling.. Simply a well documented normal with a pastel parent and a normal parent.. To me That makes more sense and even A novice like myself can see that.. Now I am sitting here with a snake that a novice can see is not right.. My other C/B o6 balls are alert probe with there tongues stretch and move around the cage. I have never witnessed any snake much less my own breath so rapididly be so lethargic and fail to move... The snake in my care is sick and I cannot do anything to help it.. I am a licensed Wildlife rehabilatator and have done everything in my ability to help this little guy..I attempted to take him to the local emergency vet.. The Vet who is not familiar with snakes said their is little she could probably do.. I appreciate the fact that she did not want to take my 95.00 dollars and do nothing..
As for sending the snake back Delta only takes animals from approved breeders after they ahve come and inspected my animals and I have sent a test package through them.. This is not an option for me..All I simply asked for was an apology and correcting the malicious posts and comments he made.. I would have moved on. Now Its a mission to make him pay for being such a jerk.. You may feel I am going way over the deep end but someone somewhere knows how I feel after being degraded like I was...

Here are the Photos of the 120 gram male pastel...

e5.jpg

My earlier statement of 60 grams was prior to a bowel movement that was wet runny and had the consistacy of pudding

e6.jpg

Same scale containing an Item that is 120 grams.. In this case a Klien screwdriver..

I am now finished but If the little guy should perish at least it had someone there who actually considered it a living creature not a dollar sign.. Thanks to all of you.. Anyone wishing to help me with this guy i can be reached at

[email protected] Thanks

Good question, Steve!!! I for one would like to know if he offers a "live arrival guarantee" on all the rocks he ships.

??

Are these rocks Het for anything?
Is this a up and coming market i wasnt aware of?
How would someone get a breeding pair?

I just wanted to add some information here on Casey Ritch... He also operates as Casey Parker from Norman Oklahoma.. He is doing business on the Reptile auctions under the name Twiztidcrochunterz.. Wasn't sure if I needed to add this as a seperate thread....
