Hello
My name is Michael D. Blackston, I'm 58 years old and retired as of 31 December 2003. I live in Georgia and Florida (depends on if the fish are biting).
I spent 23 years in the military, and now that I am retired, I have decided I wish I had stayed three more years! (oh well). I am an instrument rated Commerical pilot, but no chance of making any money at that. I Plan to run a small charters fishing business from Mexico Beach, Florida starting this spring and we will have to see how that goes. The name of the business is "Gulf Charters", and I do have a web page, but you will have to type in "Gulf Charters" in the Yahoo search engine to go there! (Hi Rich, was this OK? no URL

Building/working on airplanes

Growing tropical plants
Computers
Woodworking
Making knives
Other stuff I can't think of right now
(Like I said, I am retired)
At the present, I have only one snake, a female Cal King that I raised form the egg (she does not even know she is a snake). I did have about 30 or so assorted Corns, Milks and Kings, but had to sell them when I thought I would be going overseas. Now that I am retired, I plan to purchase a male and maybe another female and breed a few cal kings. (I love the Corns, but here in Georgia we are not allowed to keep them...You can however, keep a pit viper which could get loose and bite your children, buts that OK with the rocket scientists that run this state).
I don't post much on the forums, but I "visit" a lot.
