2 turtles available. Hatched 2018. Captive bred from captive bred parents.
Not temperature sexed and not old enough to sex. Not suitable as a breeding pair due to being clutch-mates.
These turtles are FREE in exchange for proof of a $100 or more donation (per turtle) to a turtle conservation organization (Turtle Conservancy, Turtle Survival Alliance, Turtle Room, etc). My only priority is that these turtles go to a great home.
I am located near the CO/WY border and Will Not Ship, but am willing to drive a couple hours to meet up.
Raised on Mazuri and various live invertebrates; they have had access to high quality UVB since Day 1. Both are energetic and have ravenous appetites.
I will ask for verification of your state of residence and will not rehome these turtles to anyone residing in the following states without proof of a permit: GA, ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, CT, NY, NJ, DE, MD, VA, WV, PA, OH, OR, MI.
I will also verify what kind of setup you can offer these turtles; they are important to me and I want to ensure they are going to an excellent home. I am happy to answer questions before and after rehoming.
I would prefer for these two to not be housed together in their new home unless in a very large setup (pond, etc) as they both have a feisty attitude. For this reason they also would not be a good fit to be housed with other turtles (again, unless in a very large setup).
All turtles/tortoises under 4" are for educational or research purposes only and not as pets. No rehoming to minors.
