These newts are from Lake Urmia. They have whitish-yellow spots and are 2 inches long. They eat meat pellets, daphnia, white worms, red worms, gammarus and frozen foods. I've had two orders of newts from Dan. I've kept 10 different Newt species over the years, and these newts are the most acrobatic, entertaining, fully aquatic species I've seen. They accept almost any food. Do it. They prefer slightly alkaline water (throw a piece of limestone in your tank).
 
Had a shipment from Dan arrive today, all in great condition and he was very helpful throughout the experience. Would recommend!
 
One can live in a ten gallon tank two thirds full of water. You actually can keep 6-8 in a 20 gallon long.

Hey Dan has some amazing newts . Ordered in some green marbled newts a week ago and they are beyond beautiful. Perfectly fat and healthy with great packaging. He was great at answering all my questions . This was one of the first time in quite a while since ordering an animal online and he made it a wonderful experience.
