These guys come from a high-contrast male crossed with two lighter females. New growth with these guys is always black around each carapace scute margin followed by blonde as the leopard pattern develops. Inquire for example photos of other older juveniles from previous years.
Vigorous, very active, eating a variety of greens and started on Mazuri LS tortoise diet. These little monsters run to the dinner table!

Babcocki are the smaller of the two African leopard tortoise subspecies. Leopard tortoises are very food oriented and typically become very tame, friendly, and outgoing, and they stay a manageable size.
