Diet: Feeding on a variety of weeds and aquatic plants such as dandelion greens. Leaves such as mulberry, and supplemented with mazuri on ocassion.
Adult size: These guys are meant for ponds as adults. They do a phenomenal job of cleaning up things like hair algae. Expect females to be upward of 15 in or more with males staying slightly smaller at around 8 in or more.
Necessities: Uvb lighting, a basking bulb, could be a flood light bulb, but natural sun is unmatched if you can. Filtration.
Environment: These guys need a lot of space as adults. As their name implies, they like a little current in their water as they are found in river systems in nature.
Temperament: Get along great with most aquatic species and are very friendly. They are also a great choice for if you have fish such as Koi. They do eat some protein like shrimp, snails, and fish, but in moderation.
Price: $75 ea, but if you would like the whole group i can work out a deal.
