I have a juvenile black throat monitor that I would like to rehome. I just do not have the time or the space for him anymore. Would like to get him to a good home, preferably that has experience with large monitors. I have had him for a little over a year. Is eating primarily large mice, ground turkey, hard boiled eggs but will eat anything you put in front of him. He has calmed down since I first got him but is still slightly cage 'aggressive'. He hisses and tail whips but has never bit or made an attempt to and calms down once he is removed from the cage. He is currently housed in a 55 gallon aquarium (which will be included). Also have a large custom enclosure that I was building for him, measures approximately 8' x 4' x 4'. New cage is unfinished and will need to be partially disassembled to be moved. Asking a rehoming fee of $200 for the monitor and the 55 gallon enclosure and $150 for the unfinished custom enclosure. Willing to negotiate if both are taken. As I said I just want him to go to a good home. Sorry pictures aren't the best as he is currently shedding. He is normally very brightly colored with defined circles on his back, great looking monitor. Any questions please feel free to ask. More pictures available upon request. Location is OH,43026. Will not ship. Email me at [email protected] for fastest response.
