Our female Merauke Blue Tongued (T. gigas evanescens ), Autumn, gave birth to 8 BIG beautiful babies on May 21, 2016. This is her first birthing season. We purchased her as a juvenile in 2014. The little ones are ready for their new homes, in perfect condition, healthy, active, robust, and tame. We have handled them regularly so they are accustomed to human contact. They are feeding on high grade cat food, raspberries from our garden, and cherries, butterworms, and crickets. These are unsexed, but you can tell with some, by head size ratio and torso width, a suggestion of gender.
We acquired our Merauke male, Napoleon, in April 2012. Both he and Autumn are doing great and have made wonderful pets.
