In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Show report

I attended the show yesterday, although there was not a large number of vendors I thought there was a decent selection of animals and most appeared to be high quality. There was a little bit of everything, feeders, supplies, turtles, snakes, lizards, and amphibians. No venomous.

The building was very nice, brightly lit with good climate control, the loading area for vendors was very convenient with a ramp and large doors. The bathrooms were clean and modern. There was a food concession stand although I did not personally check that out. There are many restaurants, convenience stores and hotels nearby. Free Wi-fi was available.

Overall a good smaller show with potential to grow.

I was very pleased with the show. It was clean, plenty of room to maneuver in aisles. I hate congested, small aisles at shows. I don't like people invading my personal space! ;) It looked like a good flow of people were going in and out, especially being this is only the 2nd show! I look forward to vending this summer. :)

carlise expo

i was at the show yesterday as a vendor .i thought the show went very well,, its was organized and put together well.Sales were surprisingly good for a new show.i think the isle space is what will draw the crowds and vendors.you can talk with customers and people can still look and walk by.strollers are a non issue, it was definitely more family oriented and you cant beat 8' of space behind your table, wifi, and clean bathrooms (always a plus) and the food was catered and very good.Everyone had great attitudes, customers and vendors alike.

i hope people give it a chance because it can be a great show and you cant beat the venue or the staff for that matter.

I also vended yesterday, as well as at the first one. If yesterday's show is in any way indicative of a trend in improvement and growth, I think this show has great potential. Well organized and lots of fun. There was a steady flow of new people coming in throughout the day, and this will only improve with the addition of new vendors I'm sure will follow.

The Kordek's were great as I've come to expect, and despite being dog tired by the end of the day, they were professionals while being fun and having a great time as well.

BTW, this show is worth vending just to have a chance to hang out with Scott Crowe! If you can be around this guy and not have a good time, there's something wrong with you. The venue really allows him to get animated, LOL...he should be posting some of the video on youtube. (No, Matt and Kelly...not that kind of video).

Hey everyone! I have finally gotten enough energy after the show to get around and post some info and thoughts on Saturday.

I think we had an incredible show. We had 32 vendors on the floor (2 couldn't make it), 65 tables, and our attendance doubled from the last show (over 600 through the door this time around!). We had a good steady crowd all day, and everyone seemed to have a blast (I know I did!). I have great expectations for the March 21st show, and see it being more fun than Saturday, if that is possible.

Finally getting to meet Steph was awesome, although I didn't get to spend much time with her. And Corbin is ADORABLE for anyone that might wonder. We look forward to having her with us this summer for sure!

Jamie and Mike were so much fun, and I think that Scott really did bring some serious clowning around to things that made it even better. He has posted his video with me on at least one other forum (Arachnoboards), so I will talk to him about posting it here, or getting it to me so I can. If you want to see, go search YouTube for "CPREShowWithKelly". I think everyone had a great time, which was a big goal for us.

I am really looking forward to March, and want to say a HUGE thank you to all of the vendors and customers for making our January show such a huge success. I am looking forward to seeing everyone on March 21st, so keep an eye out on the website for information in the next few days!
