Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I thought they were a reputable business so I'm not surprized they stood by their animal. I just don't understand why you were not able to get through so easily before. Perhaps the BOI did it again? I'm glad the outcome is positive for both parties involved!
 
Just wanted to add my 2 cents.......about a year ago I had bought 2 adult ball python females from Chuck that were supposed to be CB and eating frozen thawed. Well it turned out one was a male and the other never did eat and sure looked like a WC (scarring etc). I phoned Chuck, he apologized and said he would send my money back or replace the male with a female (at this time I didn't know the female was not going to eat). I told him to go ahead and try to find another female for me. Time went by and nothing, we had kept in touch and he wasn't able to find one. I felt I needed to get this resolved so as to not string either of us along any longer. This is about 6-8 months after the original deal and the other female had yet to eat, meanwhile all my other ball females were pounding food (yes I had tried live, f/t, f/k, rats, mice etc...). So I explained to him that I believed that this female was a WC, he had no problem making all this right. I shipped the WC female back and he shipped me (4) CH females along with (2) 700-800 gram juvie females - all these girls are in excellent shape and pounding food and I couldn't be happier with Chuck and his customer service. I would not hesitate to do business with him again, Thanks Chuck!

This thread just goes to show the benefit of fully reading through BOI threads. The subject heading says, "CFRB -- you decide" (which I think was a very good and judicious title given the circumstances), and anyone interested could easily read through and come to their own conclusions. In this case, although the initial poster had a problem, the issue was resolved and CFRB still appears to be a Good Guy. Hooray! :)

(I agree with MSterese -- happy endings are always better ;) )

Chuck promised to make the situation right, he has now vanished. His website, http://www.cflreptilebreeders.com is no longer working. I have tried contacting him through [email protected] and 352-220-6232. I have tried calling him numerous calls, but his answering machine has been changed and he hasn't answered the phone.

If anyone know how to get ahold Chuck or Rob it would be greatly appreciated. I still would like to see Chuck come through on his word...

i have done several deals with chuck, talked to him many times on the phone. we actually have a breeder deal/loan going on right now.

he is an honest guy, very knowledgable, and loves his work.

last i knew he was working in florida, at a gator farm - he sounded like his situation was going to make him move to texas.

maybe he is going through some tuff times right now??

it would be sad to see a good guy turn south, maybe you should give him the benefit of the doubt though?

i would hope to think chuck would'nt ruin his reputation over a boa.

What's the current status of the animal? Has she eaten for you? Do you have recent pictures of the boa?

Kemper.... With everything you said about the snake NEVER eating.... Did you EVER think to force-feeding it, so he could, at least, get SOME nutrition down his throat??.... Or are you just going to let him starve to death because he won't eat on his own??
You should have force-fed him a lot sooner than this??
