    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Just finished my first purchase from Angie Thostrup. She goes by CGma on most of the forums. Her business name is Mama T's Geckos.

My geckos arrived safely and were more stunning than her pictures showed. Angie cares about her geckos and it definitely shows in every part of the sale!

I would recommend Angie without reservation.

I bought an AMAZING little baby from Angie- and let me tell you, I could not be MORE thrilled. The gecko is drop dead gorgeous, and it's obvious that Angie really cares about all of her geckos (which are all just as stunning, by the way).

Absolutely 100% would not hesitate in buying again!

I also had the pleasure of purchasing a baby from Angie. She has been just one of the sweetest, most helpful sellers I've ever worked with.

My gecko came to me just as described in perfect condition and impeccably shipped. I can not recommend her enough- its amazing when someone who is so dedicated to her reptiles can be just as dedicated to her customers!

I bought my first crested gecko from Angie and she made it so enjoyable that I became addicted! She is my go to person for questions and she ALWAYS seems to love talking geckos with me.

I recently purchased a gecko from Angie, and could not be happier! We met up at the Tinley show in Chicago and we were able to talk for a little while. She is an amazing lady, and purchasing/recieving my gecko couldn't have gone smoother. It is very obvious she cares for all of her geckos, and takes pride in what she does. The gecko was even more gorgeous in person, and came in perfect health. I would not hesitate to purchase from Angie again!
 
I just purchased a baby crested gecko from Angie of Mama T's Cresties, and she was incredibly pleasant to deal with! She answered all my questions, and shipped out the same day I paid for the gecko. She has stunning animals and I definitely hope to do business with her again in the future. Thanks, Angie! :)

I recently did a trade with Angie at Mama T's Crestie and I am nothing but pleased with how it went.

Angie was super reasonable and open to offers, and I was able to trade two of my crested geckos for two from her. The two I received are even better than her photos showed. They were both very healthy, and beautiful.

Angie is all around very professional and I wouldn't hesitate to business with her again. Her animals are top notch and they arrived perfectly shipped in insulated boxes. She really cares about her animals and it shows!

I recently did a few transactions with Angie of Mama T's Cresties, and it was a pleasure to do business with.

She is quick to respond and is very informative when talking about her geckos. You can really tell she loves each and every one of her geckos and knows each ones personality.

When I received my geckos they were well packaged and looked better then they were pictured and that's never a bad thing :p

All in all I will definitely be purchasing from her again and look forward to adding more of her geckos to my collection!
 
I purchased an adult male from Angie earlier this year. Great communication, great service and a very obvious care for each and every one of her geckos. Package was perfect, cute little business cards and short care sheet in all. I love my boy Mocha to this day!

I was recently trying to do a transactions with Angie .
She had a gecko I loved to death. I was about 20 minutes short of putting a deposit in on her, so I gave up. About 2 days later, I saw her back up for sale. I contact Mama T and told her I'd like to purchase her. And well, the screen shots will show what happened . Not saying she's a bad breeder, but I woulnt ever try and do business with her again.

From the screenshots, just sounds like you missed out on a sale. Is this a reason to make a bad guy post? Sales can and do come and go in less than a few minutes... I know I have missed out on my share. And if you previously told her you couldn't pay...?
 
Katie, I have seen your since deleted thread on the Crested Geckos facebook group. You are withholding much of the conversation. Long story short is verbal interest does not constitute a hold in many cases, and due to the volume of people who may have interest, there is a good chance you will miss out on some sales. It happens to everyone, and if you decide that it happening to you is worth banning the breeder, you will miss out on many more high end animals. The nicer the animal, the more people asking about it, the better chance that someone may be quicker to the draw or have more to offer than you do.
 
I can understand being disappointed that you missed out, but she has done nothing wrong that I see. A breeder is under no obligation to sell to you until the details are agreed upon and a deposit is placed.
 
I didn't say she was a bad breeder. Poor business, is all. All the screenshots didn't post. I replied within 4 minutes of her saying it was still for sale, asking where I could send payment. I understand sales go fast, but she could not have loaned her out within 4 minutes, and if she did then I would understand.
 
I have purchased several times through Mama T's, and I couldn't recommend someone anymore than her. She loves her animals, and only wants the best for them. She bends over backwards for her customers, and treats everyone with respect. She has top knotch animals, and is seriously one of the nicest people in the hobby.

And yes, please disclose ALL information before trying to do a bad buy post, so that people can come to their own conclusion if she is a breeder to avoid, or one to continue to do business with.

When I asked if she did, she claimed she didn't have to tell me that, which makes me think horribly of her.

Respect and everything else lost. Sorry.
This is my review and I will leave it here, no matter what anyone says. I woulnt be doing business with her again. Trust me, there's tons of other breeders and losing out on one, especially her, woulnt upset me in any way!

Based on this rude comment, I am pretty sure you have lost out on more than just Angie. These threads both let buyers know who is a good seller, and sellers know who is a bad buyer.

She didn't have to tell you anything other than "sorry, I have to pass." Anything else is not your business.

... I also would be hesitant to do business with you if I see that you post a negative review for someone just because you missed out on a sale. If I posted a bad guy thread for every person who sold to someone other than me when I was inquiring about an animal, I would have had to have started about 25 bad guy threads. This is not a great way to endear yourself in the hobby.
