    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

as much as i hate to jump to a conclusion everything is not adding up well
sold same item to x amount of buyers (unknown quantity)
came home to a house with all the reptiles stolen (could happen)
this now sounds very fishy
has anyone else who purchased the torts gotten a similar email
 
Be nice if he could contact all of us..I have yet to hear anything. I think we just been scammed..If I dont get a call and a police report # tonight then I'm headed down to the postal inspectors tomorrow morning to see what they can do.

BTW where's our paypal money for shipping..if he was intending on shipping shouldnt we at least have that?? If he spent that too then he never intended on shipping in the 1st place.
 
Everything is not adding up.....A copy of the police report # or picture of the report is what should be sent to us. I paypaled him 491$ and I expect the 491$ back in my account by tommorow, shouldn't take longer than that to send back.
 
We did pay for his vacation he was on. What a shame..... And from my understanding his breeder trio of sulcatta tortoises were sold to a friend of mine in Texas back in march. So it's hard to believe he had 60 tortoises to sell.
 
I guess it could happen, but that is not the buyers problem. He should have never spent the money until the buyers received their orders and were happy. Money should be refunded immediately. How many times have we seen sellers spend money they have not yet earned? Burglary is no excuse. That money should be sitting in a bank account until earned. In my mind, the paid money is in Escrow until the shipment arrives and the guarantee time has expired.
 
Unless everyone is sent money tonight, for shipping if not more, it looks like recovery measures should be taken :(
 
Justin I feel so bad for you because some of the critters you were going to get were going to be a Mom's Day gift for your wife who is going to be a Mom soon.
 
yeah thats really bugging me right now , would like to at least get my 82.00 back for shipping, thats dinner and a movie.
I'll figure somthing out .. not about to let this jerk ruin our 1st MD

Well I disputed the charge on paypal so he has 10 days to respond and I don't know what he would say that would let him keep the money so if you haven't already just do the same.

But the real question is whether or not you will actually receive your money. I have had refunds not go through due to insufficient funds :( I really hope that is not the case and that there is just a large balance sitting on his account. Otherwise I do hope your bank will come through with the refund!

Thanks for that, but actually it's why I use paypal. It secures your bank info and debit card info so this moron's not running aroung with my debit # and paypal has fraud protection and even if they don't cover it your bank always should. All you have to do is call your bank and tell them they ripped you off and never sent you anything and they will give you your money back, this isn't the first time unfortunately. Then you have to fill out a couple of papers saying they ripped you off and that your not commiting fraud and you get your money but they instantly give you your money back. They will just backcharge you if you don't turn in the paperwork in 10 business days.
