    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Jordan- Your contributions HAVE been beneficial, and I think it's VERY nice, BEYOND nice actually of you to offer what you did! I didnt have anything against you, and dont want to hurt your feelings at all! All Im saying is that Chad had MULTIPLE chances to reply to several of us, and chose not to. He also told 2 people that I know of, that he was shipping their geckos out, and they never came, they were NEVER notified, and never got a response back from him. Whether he had intentions to screw everyone in the first place or not...There is just no excuse for just not responding...He's a THEIF plain and simple!

I had already sent him a message on pangea, fauna and via his email to alert him the moment this thread was posted.

In all honesty, I think chad is mostly unorganized and incapable of regularly checking up on his customers (per people who have completed transactions with him.)

I feel that, assuming he really did have car problems he probably had to use everyone's money to fix his car. If that were the case, I've actually emailed him telling him I'd pay for shipping again (though, over the phone directly to the UPS store or online or something- we'd have to talk about it.)
I can understand getting in a bind and getting in a tough situation, its happened to me before. But ignoring the problem and then walking away is just really disappointing.

I intend to call him this evening when my boyfriend's out of the house. Specifically because this situation is stressful enough, I don't need my boyfriend knowing someone's ripped me off.
 
Wow. I had already typed this up before I realized it was five pages long. I wish those of you who have lost money, time and animals the best of luck in recovery of your losses and I hope the animals are safe and well cared for. Fortunately I have only dealt with chadscresteds one time and feel extremely lucky that I received the animal I had ordered. I made a purchase from Chad on the Pangea forum trade thread as well. After corresponding with him about price I paid in full and was awaiting proper shipping weather. I had messaged him through the forums with a couple of questions and got no response. It seemed no matter the subject, after he had received my payment he ignored all attempts to contact him. I watched the weather for a warm day and then tried his direct email, which he replied to after two messages were sent. A date was agreed on and up until the animal arrived at my door I had no idea who the shipper was and no tracking details. He would not respond to ANY questions detailing shipping. The gecko was in a deli cup, packaged with magazine pages and a tiny, ice cold heat pack. No insulation what so ever and no markings on the outside of the box detailing that the parcel contained a live animal or perishable item. I am very pleased with the gecko, dont misunderstand, but the business practices of this individual are horrible to say the least and I would never do business with him again.

No answer, but left a voicemail. Basically said who I was, that I was looking for a refund or wanted to talk about *potentially* shipping, which gecko, and cell phone number. I tried to sound very polite, I just hope it came across because today I've been run ragged at work. Maybe he'll call me, doubt it though :I

I know this is stressful and I posted that just so that whoever visits his page can see that hey should take a look and back himself up.

At this point, it seems like he is either in over his head or does not plan to make this right. In any case this thread will be here for other people who might be thinking about buying from him in the future.
 
I could be way off base here, but I really think Chad just got in over his head had some problems and is too young to really know how to handle it. As long as everyone is fine receiving animals rather than refunds, I am optimistic that once the dust settles he will make this right. I am waiting for a returned call at this point.

I think this is likely. Not that it makes it ok obviously, but it could be the case. I bought a crested from him a few months ago and got my gecko very quickly. I think he very likely did get in over his head and panicked. It's NOT and excuse, but it could be the reason. Again, obviously this was the WRONG way to handle this. I hope that he owns up to all this and does what it takes to make it as right as he can at this point. Either way, he is on my do not buy from list as of now.
 
I too, am waiting on a $300 leachianus. No contact for days. I even let him knkow I would get a taxi to ride up to his place, as I was just in California. If anyone has contact info for him, please PM me.
 
I doubt it, he had logged in after we all PM'd him, and the site notifies you by pop up and email that you have a message, so he knew. I can guarantee, he was tired of being contacted by people that knew his # and had it changed ;)
 
No doubt he's dropped his number. No telling how many people called him.

Also, I'm posting a picture of the girl I bought, so if you guys see this animal forsale here, or anywhere else- you'll know its Chad.
I suggest some of you that never received your animals do the same, because to be blunt- I want to make sure he's not able to try and resell them here or on pangea.

I've already gone through some of his old ads & saved photos.

In all honesty, I'm a little afraid to have him shipping anything, from other peoples experiences. I think we should all just file disputes with paypal and get our money back. I think even Ansli, who sent her money as a gift, even has a chance, if they see his track record, with all these people reporting him. I am so fed up with this, that I don't want to even give him the satisfaction of a sale. I think after we all get our refunds then we should let his parents know that he stole from us.
 
I have had some minor dealings with Chad, but they too speak on his integrity as a business person in this trade.

He replied to an ad in which I was looking to purchase a red harlequin male.

I had a feeling that the gecko he had contacted me with was familiar, and that I had seen him for sale previously. However, I did not recognize the animal until he had sent me some fired up photos, with the name included (one of the photos is attached - kurant010.jpg).

When I didn't reply, he sent me this (LOL)

It's interesting that Chad decided to more than double the price he paid, but I suppose that is what arbitrage is, right?
