I would like my name and geckos to be completely disassiciated with Chad and what he did with his geckos to you guys. I purchased chads collection in thought that it would be an enjoyable experience and thinking I could breed some pretty cool geckos and possibly make some money back on what I bought. I personally think the geckos I purchased from Chad are absolutely beautiful and although with a gouache of a repution, deserve just as fair of a chance of being bought sold or traded as any other gecko on this forum. I have taken plenty of harassment and false accusations and am really sick of it. I am still even willing to send Tara her gecko after het sending some RUDE messages to me just bc I was incapable at the time of sending it out to her. I would like a fair chance at selling off some of my geckos and would also very much like to buy some off of here and pangea. Give me the chance to prove myself and show that i can be the reputable breeder i know i am. Thank you, Broderick

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

What's interesting is that it's taken in excess of 30 days for you to respond to Tara's communications...That's what's not right...
Rude or not, you made a commitment to make a deal gone bad, go right. And then, after making said commitment, you send false shipping dates and basically cease communications with Tara. Again...not right.
I think people may have given you the benefit of a doubt in the beginning, but after you failed to make things right and prove you are indeed NOT chad (or chad's lackey), you go and mess up by not sending Tara's gecko and further ignoring this thread. Way to go dude. Any shot you may have had at a stand-up reputation is probably lost.
After being harassed and given shit by all of you on here i decided to remove myself from the situation and to settle down bc i was sick of taking all the crap you ppl give me on here. As far as tara goes why would I respond and still do a favor for somebody who sends rude messages over not being ably to get a gecko that they feel they are owed. I was more than willing to send it out and then still get shit from you on here. I'm sick it!

A hole in the wall doesnt go away by simply putting a picture over it. Meaning? Just because you ignore it doesnt mean it will go away. To make it go away you need to take the steps to make things right. I havent read this whole thing, I mean come on its 41 pages long. But reading what I have read would turn me off from ever buying from you. So to better help your situation you would think as a logical person to clear your name you would take the steps to right a wronged situation, regardless how annoying, and bashing people can be. Remember only you can give yourself a good name by your actions, so you are digging yourself your own hole. My suggestion, get a bull dozer and fill in the whole by taking the steps to do what is right, regardless of how other people feel of you. So then maybe this can all get resolved and then maybe you will get a good guy BIO instead of such a bad guy one. But thats just my 2 cents....and I dont even have any pennies I just have a nickle in my pocket.
Funny things is you all treat me like shit when I for 1, have not even sold a gecko yet to prove that I am legit and 2 seem to be giving me a bad rep when I haventveven sold a damn gecko yet. No I won't take bashing from people that's not right and I have more respect for myself than to let pol think it is ok to do so.

If you are a legit guy that is responsible and provides quality customer satisfaction (or is willing to), why have you ignored Tara and called her "rude"? Besides the fact that you've been incredibly defensive throughout this entire thread, a good businessman or hobbyist always assumes that "the customer is right". I have dealt with Tara, and she is unlike many other people in the sense that she is very cordial regardless of many circumstances. As someone that knows her, I highly doubt that she would be "rude" as she was the major player in this whole situation willing to work with you and clear your name. Many of us are not so forgiving, as you haven't provided us with much proof honorable of a "Good Guy" status.
Be the responsible person and show us what you intend to do to distance yourself from Chad and his bad rep if you want a good name. That's not on anyone but yourself. I can guarantee you that you will have a very difficult time selling and trading if your BOI status remains uncleared.

Myself I pride myself on customer service, regardless if the person is buying a gecko from me or not, I make it a point being a breeder and hobbyist to give each and every person who contacts me 100% of my attention be it they are just asking me a question, buying a $50 gecko, or buying a $300 gecko. That is just the way that I am, people talk be it good or bad, and it can make or break you. The lack of caring what others thing of you is rather disheartening to hear because you say you respect yourself too much, yet you dont care that others are talking so badly about you ruining your rep. If anything that is telling me that you really dont care about your rep. And the sad thing about the online community it is so easy to slink away and make a new name for yourself, and happens far to often and too many people get hurt in the act.
So regardless if you have been wronged, and Tara being wronged although it may or may not be your fault, in the long run your hurting yourself more, which makes no sense to me what so ever. But by ignoring the problem youre making it worse, by bashing those bashing you. It is quite simple, fix the problem, the rudeness will stop, you can show people youre a great person to work with, then you can start on your way of being a great person to work with. But YOU have to take that step, look beyond what others are saying about you, act like a grown up regardless of how others are treating you, that is part of being a good business person, and a well rounded adult.

That's what you got yourself into by purchasing Chad's geckos. You not only got the animals, you got yourself the responsibility of dealing with the fact that you purchased someone else's property. When Tara bought that gecko it became HERS. No longer Chad's, and when he resold it to you, NOT YOURS.
Double-dipping. Selling stolen property. Call it what you like.
It's STILL WRONG.
And until you admit to yourself that not only did Tara get screwed in this deal, but your buddy, Chad, screwed you, too, you will be CLUELESS.
Now-maybe you had NO IDEA of what Chad was pulling, but maybe you DID. It could have been part of a scheme to "sell off the geckos", then send them to you to hide and re-sell at a later date, and split the profits. We have no proof that you paid Chad a dime, so you may be a willing accessory in his scam, for all we know.
THAT is why you have no credibility here.
If this were about jewelry or a car, and the police were involved, you'd be looking at jail time.

I don't think there is any hope for this entity to hide it any longer, the best route would be to come clean and say "Hey, I messed up. I tried to hide it. I realize it was wrong, and at the time I was in a bad place that made it impossible for me to uphold my end of the bargain. I want to fix that." And then you go about making good on claims.

I could have sworn you had an add with leachies that said sold a while back right after you cut communication with tara. Also everyone stopped bashing you when they thought you had proven yourself. I believe Tara said she didn't expect you to send the gecko and wasn't going to hold you to it. But you insisted if thats what it takes then you would. Got her and everyone else all excited that you would make it right than did the unthinkable. I def still believe you are chad. You were like sweet everyone bought it now alls I have to do is send this girl a free gecko. When that time came you couldn't do it you just couldn't let one go for free. Like I said it would not be hard to have a friend stand in your house holding a picture of their ID obviously if they are friends with you they must be scammers like you to.
