    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

what can i say after sitting out on catching up on the thread? man, what a mess. and to think, only a mere few probably ever got the end product. i saw he even posted at pangea this month with a leachie. not sure if they kicked him for that. what will he do next? pose as a tranny?

In a way I feel sorry for Chad. I think that he is trying to turn things around and be a bit more business-like, BUT he has lied and it seems like his solution was to pile more lies on top of it.

People are rightfully going to always label him as shady, but he still has time to turn things around - at least I hope so. He just needs to man up and own his mistakes.

I hope to no longer be reffered to as being Chad and quite frankly would not like my selling to even be associated with his as I do not feel the practices that have been mention on this BOI that he has been accused of doing are right at all. I hope to get closer with the reptile community here on Faunaclassifieds and am very excited to see some of the geckos that I have purchased are capable of producing.

This is the earliest post I can find by "Broderick", Chad...other than 5 posts in the classifieds where you had assumed your new persona to try to move the geckos.

Do you realize you just spent MORE time on Fauna as "Broderick" than as yourself??

Are you going to spend the rest of your life going by an alias to get what you want?

I think that every time things don't go your way, you will lie and blame others for your shady ways.

And in time, I believe you will go on to commit REAL CRIMES that you WILL be caught and prosecuted for.

How is this at all useful to this thread? Please stay on topic and respectful. It pisses me off when people use offensive, derogatory slander. Grow up.

...As for Broderick/Chad, I had a feeling all along. It's unfortunate that he couldn't apologize and redeem his own name, but instead fabricated an alias. It seems as though there have been many in this hobby doing that, sadly. It's too bad honesty is such a rare trait.

I feel sorry for him too.

If he had come back, apologized, fixed his mistakes and and set the story straight- instead of creating a new alias and lie on top of lie- I might have bought one of his geckos... maybe.

Instead he took a bad situation and made it exponentially worse.

His ads (was also selling crested geckos in another) were removed at Pangea and the Broderickvw account was blocked from posting in Trade there but that does not mean he will not figure out another way to slip through.

I guess just keep an eye out for the animals he was selling to keep yourself safe. If you're into buying cresties or leachies save the pics in his ads now to save yourself the trouble down the road.
 
I knew there was a reason I was never convinced. They ALWAYS slip up and reveal themselves and when they do BAM! Im just really happy this played out the way it did. Chad fooled us long enough to send Tara her gecko pluss another one and a week later got BUSTED. Thats true Karma right there!

This seemed really wierd to me why he came here out of the blue and posted that. He must have caught his mistake of sending that old paypal address and thought a preemptive strike could save him. Guess he doesn't know the wonders of screen caps. HAHHA
 
See, that's what makes this such a retarded move... to use the old paypal to recieve money for a sale, and then publicly state bigtime that the two are separate.

Nobody would have even asked about it, and he was in the clear. Dug his own grave, that one did. And it's a well deserved bad rep he has now too.

Big thanks to the BOI on this one. Last week vwgeckos tried to buy a crested from me. I had no idea it was Chad. Luckily after a few emails he lost interest, right about the same time I ran a search.

The poor little gecko Tara finally got has had some issues, too. :/
